The sun fell behind the trees, and the filtered rays of light reflecting through the evergreens disappeared. I"d gathered more pitch for my wound, paying careful attention to pick only the light colored pieces. I made my way behind the cabin, favoring my sore ankle. It had been four days since my accident.
