It seemed to me that my life was gaining some order, with only a few issues left to deal with. One thing, a little harder to deal with, was bringing myself back to life. Even though I hadn"t been legally declared dead, some government agencies had recorded that I was. Little things like renewing my expired driver"s license proved to be a test of patience and humility. The telephone stopped ringing and the mailman was back to delivering our mail once again.
