"Which pack?" Ethan asked.
"The Northwoods Pack," I replied. "The vampires attacked our territory and killed everyone."
"Do you have any idea why this happened?"
I didn't know. I thought it might have something to do with the meeting that was supposed to happen today.
"I'm going to meet your father," I said. "I want to know what's happening in the world."
"Stay there," he replied. "I'll come with you."
"No."
I tried to grab him, but he pushed me away.
"You stay here and relax," he said. "I'll be back soon."
"Fine!" I yelled. "Whatever! Just hurry up and get back here!"
He closed the door to his study and left the house.
