As we reached the castle, he entered inside his chamber.
I followed, leaving my spear outside so that it wasn't a danger to anyone who decided to enter the castle.
He turned around slowly, his expression becoming serious. I could tell that he was concerned about something, probably about the battle. I just hoped that this wouldn't turn out to be a disaster. I didn't know what to expect, after all.
He looked at me, giving me a slight nod before continuing. I waited, feeling impatient. He had already wasted a lot of time, and now I had to make sure that he was okay. It didn't matter what I'd promised the guards, I wanted to protect Alpha Gabriel.
He finally closed his eyes, taking a long breath. Then he looked at me.
"You have to do something to me," he said. His voice sounded like he
