Promise?” I heard someone say my name, my eyes flied open and relief crashed through me. My legs grew weak, a body steadied mine.
“ Hey, you alright?” she asked, her green eyes searching mine. I was outside the staffs room, what the heck happened to me?
People stared, looked and some brought out their phones but she didn't flinch regardless. “ Can you walk? I'll take you to the nurse's office.” she whispered, her breath sending a shiver down my spine.
I gulped then nodded. She held me tight, her hands doing weird things to me. “ What were you doing there anyways?” she asked as she laid me on a bed.
The nurse wasn't around. “ I wanted to talk to you... I was worried.” I said the last part came out as a whisper but loud enough for her to hear.
She took in a sharp breath, emotions danced in her eyes before her face broke into a smile. “ I thought you didn't want me close?” she teased gently then sat on my bed.
I blushed, laughter burst through her as if she had won a lottery. “ Yes! Finally got you to blush.” she said, her smile vanished almost as quickly as it came.
It was like something hit her hard. Her face contruted in pain and her hands flew to her head. Her eyes rolled to the back and she crashed on me.
I froze. I wasn't dreaming right? I shook her lightly, her body felt cold and looked pale. Her eyes were shut tightly, teeth gritted.
“ Bella? Bella don't play with me.” I said fear already clouded my thoughts. I forced myself up, her hands held my shirt tight enough to rumble it.
She whispered, her body convulsed in my hands then it registered to me. She was really close to heat.
“ s**t” no wonder why she knew about my condition. I stood up quickly and laid her on the bed, then immediately undressed her.
My hands were working on impulse as it reached for my bag and brought out my drugs. Her breathing was ragged, her eyes opened a little then shut again.
How was I supposed to administer the drugs to... A blush spread through my face as a thought dropped to my mind.
Her eyes flew open, it was gray already. Fear gripped my heart and I knew what to do immediately.
I popped some pills into my mouth and broke it. Next thing I knew, her hands were wrapped round my throat squeezing the very last air from me.
I didn't want to hurt her so I didn't fight back. My face began to turn pale blue, I was losing oxygen. My eyes locked with hers, my hands held her face as I smashed my lips on hers.
Her eyes grew bigger, struggling to free herself but I didn't bulge, my mouth seeked an entrance to her's.
I bit her lower lip a little which caused her to open up, enough for me to plunge my tongue into her mouth and make her swallow the drugs.
Her hands were still tightly wrapped around my neck. I finally ran out of breath, my hands dropped from her face and eyes closed slowly.
.........
I woke up in her lap, she seemed rather busy with what she was doing on her system.
I made to talk but instead I ended up coughing, dry, painful coughs that made my lungs burn.
She shut her system and flung it somewhere, her hands helped me sit as she patted my back. “ Are you okay?” she asked after a while.
I nodded, our eyes meeting again. “ Your eyes .... it's..” she didn't let me finish, a small smile gracing her lips.
“ I'm still on heat.” she said softly and I instinctively shifted farther away, my hands wrapped around my throat.
It still hurt. I wasn't dreaming then. Hurt flickered in her eyes, she didn't expect me to do such. It's not like I wanted to either, it was my body.
“ I'm sorry ” I rasped, my eyes landed on her lips. It was a little swollen.
“ I understand how are you feeling now?” she asked masking her hurt with a fake smile.
“ Fine.” I replied, my eyes roaming around. ‘This isn't my house ’ I thought to myself, realization dawning on me.
“ You're at my place, I... I wanted to take care of you.” she said as though reading my thoughts.
I nodded, cautiously drawing closer to her. I had no idea if she was conscious when I administered the drugs but I just wanted to rest.
She went rigid the moment my head dropped on her laps. To be honest, I was a little scared of her condition but I trusted her.
I trusted her? ‘Who exactly is this lady?’ I thought to myself, a sigh escaping my lips. My throat burned and my lips felt dried but the only thing I felt was an emotion I've never felt before.
I stared at the white ceiling, my eyes drifting over to her's. She was frozen with shock, her expression wasn't just priceless, it was cute.
Wait,cute?
“ Can't you change it?” I asked, my voice came out softer than I planned. She opened her mouth to say something then stopped. She shook her head in the negative.
I sighed and closed my eyes, the only thing I could feel was the heat radiating from her laps.
“ Do you remember anything that happened during your heat?” I asked carefully trying not to give off any emotions in case she didn't.
Her cheeks warmed up in a blush which she tried to hide with her hands. “ I remember when you kissed me.”
She said in a whisper. Her voice gave up the fact that she was embarrassed.
As I was about to defend myself, a woman walked in, a wide smile on her face that scared me and a knife at hand.
I immediately sprung away from her laps and stood up. I felt like someone caught stealing.
Who the heck was she?
