Abby couldn’t believe Jonathan was dropping all of this on this poor boy at once. Abby was about to tell him so, but suddenly Elliot started to cry. Abby gave Jon a withering look and handed Jon Margaret. She went to Elliot and started to soothe him.
“Elliot it will be ok.” Abby repeated over and over again. Abby rocked him back and forth, while Elliot clung to him like a small child.
“I’m sorry Elliot I wanted to wait, but your step-mother-“ Jonathan tried to explain but Abby interrupted him.
“Not now Jonathan, can’t you see he’s upset?” Abby asked looked at him furious.
“Well I’m not, he needed to know!” Jonathan stated and Abby couldn’t believe his insensitivity.
“Well is any of it good?” Jonathan thought about it for a minute,
“I guess it depends on your meaning,” Abby looke
