I finally make it to camp and I get assigned a group and a cabin and head off tonight we will mingle. I have a few friends there too. There's Heather, Keith and Dave also of course There's Andy. I had a boyfriend before him for a while but we broke up because we were at an impass he wanted to make out and I never kissed anyone it's not that I'm waiting for anything specific just when I feel it's the right person and time. Which I haven't and I won't let anyone pressure me either. I do have a guiltily pleasure pleasure of reading smutty book and I have learned a lot from them at 16 I probably know more about s*x than I should. Anyway just because I read about it doesn't mean I want it. I am finally unpacked and we have the gathering tonight. We head over to the great hall ( I laugh to myself at that name) and when I walk in I see him. He's so cute there's several people mostly girls hanging around him he's about two years older and not quite 18 just yet. I walk up to the group tap him on the shoulder and he turns around and gets a huge smile he says its so good to see you he then puts his arm around me and say guys this is a very special friend of mine . Everyone says hi except two of the girls giving me a weird look. He wraps up his conversation and ask if we can go out on the deck to talk I say sure. He walks me out there and says Zoe I wanted to know if you'd be my girlfriend officially. I said yes he leans down like he's gonna kiss me and I move so it lands on my cheek I look up and he looks at me questioningly. I just shrug, sorry but it took you forever to ask me out and its going to take some time before I'm use to it and am ready for your kisses. Oh ok I understand and kisses my forehead. Two weeks fly by Andy sets up dates and stuff while we are at camp and it was great really sweet. After that and before I leave to go to North Carolina he's having his graduation party and ask me to come, of course I say yes. My dad agreed to let me use the car and I go to the party I see Andy and head over by the fire. He had given me this card for my birthday in it he tape a balloon and wrote you're sixteen now come fly away with me to college. It was funny timing because I was going to be staying back to Florida and just haven't told him yet. Also Hudson and I were smart and skipped a grade so our senior year we would be 17 at the beginning of the year instead of 18 like everyone else. We just had two years left.
