I watch her walk inside and get in my car I drive back to the lake and look for Hudson. I see him and Molly they haven't seen me and they are arguing. She's loud too. She says its because of her isn't Hudson? He says no Molly you don't get it we were just broken up this morning because of how YOU treated my bestfriend my bottom line and you knew that and I'm sixteen and accidents can happen I don't want to sleep with you its not going to happen. I just don't get most guys would jump at the chance to sleep with me. He says I get that but the thing is I'm giving you a second chance and I'm not ready to go there yet. Why can't you just chill I just want to make sure it's what I want. Then I hear movement. I come out of my spot to see her kissing him grinding up against him trying to get her way I clear my throat and nothing I say hey guys loudly and Hudson pulls away and as the lusty haze clears I say Hudson why don't you and I take her home I need to talk to you. He says yeah lets go. We take her home and they say goodbye Hudson says thanks man that could have gotten out of hand and I didn't want it to. I look at him and say look I know you're young and hormonal but you have to put your foot down and if she doesn't respect that and your friendship with Zoe maybe you breaking up with her was the right decision and if you want to try and make it work don't plan dates alone we can double if you want or just don't be a lone. You have to become stronger because there will always be women who try to get you to fall and you're a good guy so don't be that guy. The one that cheats is just as bad as being dishonest and lies. I know Zoe loves you and thinks the world of you so be a man of integrity for her and you're future wife or girlfriend. Anyway sorry its just I saw how adamant you were about not doing something then she took advantage. I had to say something. Hudson looks at me and says thanks man I appreciate that. What were looking for me for we had arrived at the house already but parked down at the end of the drive. It's about Zoe I say. Hudson looks at me is she ok did something happen? Well when I brought her home she said she was upset because she thinks you're mad at her and you wouldn't even look at her she was crying man thinking she did something that upset you. Hudson lays his head back on the head rest and sighs look this is uncomfortable to talk to you about but in full disclosure I couldn't watch you kiss her I saw the beginning of it and I just couldn't look at her after that I wanted to say something mean because I was angry. I say Hudson why were you angry do you like her more than a friend? Nah man its not like that its just well I don't know if you'll understand because when I say it it's going to sound like I'm in love with her but I'm not. Ok Hudson just say it and I'll try to understand. Hudson ok it's just she's always been mine I've never really had to share her with anyone and never had to see her kiss anyone and it makes me feel like I'm losing my bestfriend and although I have a girlfriend I only see her a few times a year and I wonder if Zoe felt this way when I started dating Molly. It's feels like I'm going to lose her. I think about what he said and yeah to people who have never heard about their friendship it would seem like he's in love but they have this love for eachother that's different and I totally respect that. I say ok I get it kinda. It's like having to share your favorite toy. Hudson looks at me SHE IS NOT A TOY. Oh sh*t that came out wrong of course she's not a toy I know that. What I mean is she's your favorite in the world and sharing her time is hard for you? Hudson yeah man sorta. Look Hudson I'm here for 3 more days than you guys then I leave for two years to another country I won't see her or you for a long while. Don't worry she knows and I won't take it further than kissing I like her I really do like her and in another time and place I would like to think we could be more. So I guess I hope I don't break both our hearts and I hope that you can bear to share her attention this week because after that all I'll have is a memory of something that could have been great. She's one of the best people I've known. Oh, Hudson you need to make sure she knows you aren't mad at her she really can't bear it and God her tears I hate seeing them. Hudson says bro don't I know it since Kindergarten man I've done my best to see a smile every day. Especially after what happened in the third grade. What happened? Her grandmother died she had cancer but died of a blood clot to the heart. I was on the phone with her crying for hours. That must have sucked. Yeah and my dad did the funeral and after she was done dad brought her home she just climbed in bed and laid there staring she wouldn't eat or anything finally she turned over and I just hugged her I didn't know what to do we were in third grade for God sakes she was devastated. Shortly after that her dad and mom faught, they had faught a lot he moved out for a while in the second grade then came back and then after her grandmother passed he left. She tries hard not to get attached because everyone leaves. Just great now I'm doing the same sh*t. Not exactly. what do you mean? Hudson says are you going to keep in touch with her. Of course as much as possible. Then you aren't abandoning her? Even if you just end up as friends. I say ok with questioning look. Her dad though? Man she's always seeking for that jerk to say I love you and I'm proud. However, he's always forgetting her birthday he waits till almost 10pm to call her every year even though he got remarried on her birthday. HE DID WHAT? Yeah right like who does that? On her birthday a few months back she had to fight her stepmother to keep her party near her birthday because the selfish bi**ch wanted to go out of town because it's her anniversary. God that's a real piece of work. Yeah I know I appreciate everything but I should go check on her and you should go so you can text when you're home. Ok have a good night. Night.
