THE MESSIAH VOLUME - 1 CHAPTER - 1 With the whole universe being superior to the human race, mankind was forced down to slavery. When no human stood a chance against alien species boosted with powerful mana, super alien strength, and cruel skills, the Krishna of our story had to take birth. It was raining, no sunlight was reaching the surface. The thunder scares off the birds and in all this you can hear the crying of a human infant, crying all alone in a dug hole filled with lifeless bodies of humans. Known as slaves in the whole world. Two Eric soldiers approached the dug hole. The Erics, who rule over humanity, dominating through their mana-based influential magic. In appearance, they were quite similar to humans, except for their purple-shaded skin color. "God damn it I hate this check-up thing, these dead humans stink," Said the first soldier. "Yeah, I know that too. I prefer slaughtering rather than checking if they are all killed by that executioner. " Said the second one. "Hey wait, you see that? " Asked the first soldier, pointing towards the infant crying and all alone in that dug hole. "You mean by that baby?" "Yeah, it's alive... should we kill it? After all, it's a human child" " No dumbass the executioner messed up. He missed the baby we should kick his ass, so let's grab that slave baby and go to the superiors" "Nice plan, let's get on it." They decided to carry that infant and took it to the Eric colony, a place filled with castles, where Erics live their lavish lives, there are humans too. But only to serve Erics. When the two soldiers brought the human infant to this colony, the other Erics around then started staring at them. The two soldiers approached the executioner who was standing beside an Eric elder named Sintan. An aged Eric elder who served his young days as a formidable warrior. Sintan stared at the child in the soldier's hand and asked. "If I am not mistaken, isn't that a human child in your hands?" Asked Sintan with a doubtful tone. "Yes it is " Replied the soldier. "Then what the hell is that filthy child doing in an Eric soldier's hands in this colony?" Asked Sintan with disgust. "It's our executioner's fault he missed this child during the slave m******e. " Said the second soldier pointing towards the executioner. "If that's the thing then..." Sintan stared at the executioner and said it with a smile. "Executioner you will be executed. The choice is yours: get executed by our recently employed executioner, the soldier who found this child, or get executed by the current executioner ... oh which means you " Sintan noticed a strange gold ring on the child's finger which certainly interested him. After seeing the ring he immediately flipped his statement. "The executioner has done a great job by not killing this child. Now as a soldier you must give that child to me and get dismissed. Oh yes, and the executioner you can have two human slaves of your own from now on as a reward. Dismiss!" Said Sintan in excitement. The Soldier objected "But sir.." "Do you wish to go against an Eric Elder, you bastard?" Said Sintan with cold eyes and anger. The soldier immediately left Sintan played unfairly, but it seemed that there was something important about that gold ring in the child's finger. He was in a hustle. He took the child to his huge castle and isolated himself with the baby in a room. Sintan's room was quite fancy and royal. A red carpet, pure wooden bed, golden wine glasses, and whatnot. He's a reputed Eric elder after all, but coming back to the story. He rushed and removed the ring from the baby's ring - finger and gently put it on his own little finger but the minute his little finger came in touch with the ring, his finger busted and he yelled "AH!! DAMN IT!" He lost his little finger and started losing blood. "How??" He cried. He touched his busted little finger, infused mana and said "Heal" It was healing magic. It didn't regenerate his finger but it started to reattach the worn out tissues. While healing his finger. He realised that even touching that ring was dangerous, upon touching it caused a certain amount of damage, what lies within it? And how is it bonding with the child? Sintan was confused, he needed answers. He placed that ring back into the child's finger, he lifted the baby and said while staring at him with a smile. "Looks like I am gonna need you alive, you lucky bastard." Sintan decided to call for an Eric elder meeting, where all the Eric elders gather for a specific reason. Sintan had all the elders gather at the table and entered the room with the child in his hand. The child's cry echoed in the hall. The Eric elders saw the child and started giving out looks to Sintan. One of the elders said in a threatening manner "Lord Sintan, what is the meaning of this?" Sintan stood in the center and said "Gentlemen! I know what you have been thinking. A human child? Here? In the Eric colony. Understandable, but hear me out. My statement may sound unreasonable to all of you, but it is all for the greater good." "And what's that?" Asked an elder "I am going to raise this human child right here in the Eric colony." The sound of whispers began. An Eric elder banged the table and stood up. "Raise a human child you say? Do you know what message it will give to the rest?" Said am Eric elder out of aggression. "Exactly! And tell me what will you say about this to the king?" Asked another elder. " King won't be here on earth for the next few years or perhaps even more, and trust me I would be the one to deliver this news to him." Said Sintan The elders didn't seem to understand.. "My friends, I have proved my worth to the Eric race over my lifetime, and you all know that all my actions are for the greater good of Erics." Explained Sintan. "Your request is unreasonable, I am afraid it's not possible." Said an elder. Sintan tightened his fist and said. "If that's the case then, here at this moment I use my ELDER - RIGHT that I shall raise this human child in the Eric colony as my right to choose." Elder - right was a gesture made to Eric elders by the administration as a token of respect. It allowed them to perform or ask for anything they want without any objections, not even the king can object to it. Though an Eric Elder can use this right only twice. The elders started talking "Damn it! Nothing can be done now." "You have wasted your golden ticket pal." "So nothing can be done now, and you are gonna keep that baby here, what are you gonna name him GrANdPa??" Asked an elder in a joking way. "Ahh grandpa? I guess I am an aged person after all, I don't mind being called that. Humans have their elders name them, so technically I do have a right to name this child, who is a boy. A name? Hmm let me think of it." Sintan took this time and thought of a name. He held the baby in his hands and announced "HIS NAME IS ZENITH."
