Eliana's POV
“You gotta be kidding me,” Annabelle said, looking at me wildly. We were in my room and I'd just given her a full rundown of everything that had happened with Professor Matthews. It had been two days after I tried to amend things in the bathroom and she’d called me that morning to tell me she was willing to be friends with me again.
I left nothing out in my narration, starting right from when I first arrived at the university till the moment after his wife called him when we were in the car together.
Still in disbelief, Annabelle got up from the bed, shaking her head slowly. “That's crazy, Eliana. That is just so crazy. I had my suspicions but everything you just said literally blew my mind.”
