Rising from the Ashes

Chapter 1      As I wake up to my alarm clock I hear my mom and dad arguing again. Can’t they do that outside or something it's getting annoying they have been fighting every single day since Ethan moved out and they keep waking me up?  I get out of bed and walk to the bathroom I then slam the door so they could hear. They were quiet for a second but only for a second then they start at it again. I roll my eyes and turn on the shower as I wait for the water to warm up I look in the mirror, I see my birthmark on my left hip, my icy blue eyes and petite little body. The water finally warms up so I jump in. Time skip I get out of the shower and wrap my fluffy towel around my body. I then turn on the fan in the bathroom and walk back to my room I pick out my clothes for the day. A red velvet half-shirt, a pair of black jeans, plain gray socks and my black army boots.  I put some lotion on before putting on my clothes. As I walk back to the bathroom to brush my teeth I pull my long black hair in a messy bun. I notice someone is in the bathroom so I knock on the door.  “ I’m using it !” I hear my little sister Olivia say “ What are you doing in my bathroom Olivia !” “ The lighting in your bathroom is way better than mine so I do my make up in here” “ So what if it’s better it’s my bathroom get out we have two bathrooms for a reason ” “ Okay okay, I’ll get out after I’m done.” “ you got two seconds” As I see the bathroom door open I stare at Olivia with a blank face, she mumbled something and walks off. I walk into my bathroom to see it is a mess. There toilet paper all over the floor, my mirror has makeup smudges all over it and my hand soap is all over the bathtub. As I go to look for the Windex under my sink I find the ring my birth mother gave me it has our birthstones in them mine is ruby I was born July 25, 2002, and my mother is emerald she was born May 15, 1975, My birth mom gave me up when she was just 21 and I get why she gave me up but I’m a little sad about it. When I’m done with cleaning my bathroom I brush my teeth and do my hair then I walk downstairs to the kitchen to go make a breakfast sandwich witch includes egg and turkey bacon I go to get my bag and put my shoes on Time skip As my mom pull’s into the school parking lot I notice my best friend Emma waiting outside for me so I hop out of the car and tell my mom bye and she leaves. As I walk up to Emma I notice my little sister Olivia walking with her friends I mean if you call them friends there so fake they talk about her behind her back but I get involved its none of my business. Then I look at my phone I notice it’s 7:20, class is about to start so I grabbed Emma’s hand and we walk into math when we walk in we go to take our seat’s I go to the back while Emma goes to sit next to her boyfriend I think they’re a cute couple they get along they don’t fight much and Emma has told me that she wants to get married after she finishes college and I will support her no matter what even if I think its a bad idea. The teacher walks in and starts class I don’t really pay attention because I already know what they were teaching us. The only reason I know what there talking about is because I was forced to go to a summer camp/school it wasn’t that bad but we had to be away from electronics for five weeks and I don’t think that I could have lived without my phone for five weeks but it did hence the forced part but I ended up having fun I did get lost in the woods for a day it was oddly relaxing. I’m snapped out of my daydreaming by the bell ringing so I get my stuff to leave. On my, to English, I say bye to Emma and hurry off. My English class is on the other side of the school so I have to run I make it there in less than 50 seconds that’s my new record!! but it’s funny because I have never run track but emmas is always saying I should and I might do it this year.
