Episode 8

'Paul what the hell did you do?' Jason said angrily

'That's what I would like to know' Paul said

'Clearly, you did something that made her to this state'

'H-He is going to kill me!' I murmured

'What!' Jason shouted

'What!' Paul shouted as well

'I heard them talking about it..' I said

'Well we weren't talking about you sweetheart' Paul said

'You weren't' I asked confused

'Mind to explain who you were talking about then?' Jason asked

'Lets talk about that in private' Paul said

'Yeah, but later we are leaving' Jason said and walked away

'I am so sorry sir' I said embarrassed to even look at him and walked out

'I'm so sorry! I was sure they were talking about me' I sad running after him since he was walking too fast

'Don't worry, its understandable considering what happened to you' he said

'Also um sorry for umm...hu..hugging you'i said shyly

'That's ok, anyway that was Paul. He was my dad's best friend, when I became the leader he helped me a lot and still gives me advice when I need them and, he is also Austin's father'

'Oh ok,'

'You did great today, come on lets go' he said and we walked back to the hallway

'Girls, the shipment comes tonight at 9' Jason said before leaving

BACK IN THE MANSION

'I will be in my office if you need me' Austin said 

'You should take a nap'

'Not a bad idea' I giggled before leaving him

I walked back to my room, taking my shoes off and wore some shorts then jumped into bed

That went okay to be honest, except with Paul, I totally embarrassed myself

I can't believe I hugged Jason like that though

His chest felt so hard and muscular and I think I am addicted to his cologne. I love the way he felt when I touched him

wait, what am I even thinking about?

JASON

Just when Ava left, Ashley walked to me asking her to fill her up on what was happening

'So, Ava lives here now then what?' she asked

'I don't know yet, lets see what happens after the mess' he said

'This is so not you Jason. You always have at least some kind of plan in your mind. You are never this spontaneous and definitely not because of a girl' she said

'I know how this might look like but everything is under control' he said

'Oh I bet it is, she said winking making Jason to give her a death glare and walk away

AVA

knock knock!

Ashley knocked before entering Ava's room

'Hey Ava, I was thinking of going to the mall. Would you like to join me? Am sure you need some new clothes' she said

'I don't know can I even leave the house' I asked worriedly

'You are not a prisoner, you need some time off from everything

'I don't have any money to-'

'Don't worry about that' she said and walked to the door

I didn't follow her so she said 'are you coming' and I rushed after her

JASON

'So, you are saying we have a rat?' Jason said angrily speaking on the phone

Paul - yes on the north side. Austin is sure about it and he is on his way with Andrew to get her

'Her? So this is what ava was confused about?' Jason asked

Paul- she must have heard us talking about that and assumed we were talking about her

'Can you blame her? Everyone would have assumed that'

Paul- maybe...Anyway you need to give them orders of what to do after they come back 

'They all know what to do with traitors

Paul- alright then

And Jason hang up the phone

Now I understand what happened back at the office. But one thing I don't get...

How much it affected me when I thought someone would have hurt her under my watch. This has never happened to me before...

I chose to turn my feelings off long time ago for a good reason. I don't know what feeling this is but one thing I know for sure

I have to protect her

'I am taking Ava to the mall, don't wait up' Ashley said

'Do you think that is wise at the moment, I can't gurantee your safety there, unless you take bodyguards with you

'No way! come on, you know we will be fine. Its daylight and the mall is full of people nothing will happen' Ashely said

'Okay then, you can take my driver' Jason said

'Of course we are taking your driver duh' Ashley said

Just as Ava was about to leave Jason called out 'Ava wait'

AVA

'Yeah' I said

'Be safe ok!' he said being really close to me

'I will' I said blushing

'I will see you when you come home'

'See you soon'

'Go now, Ashley is waiting'
