Episode 6

'You...' Ava whispered a little bit scared of him

'Great...Clearly I didn't think this through. What am I supposed to do now?' Jason thought in his head

'Hey um.. How are you feeling' He said 

I didn't really trust men after everything I have been through. I tried to take few steps back but I lost my balance and needed to lean on the wall

'Are you ok' he asked. Before he realised he automatically hurried closer to help her but as soon as soon as she noticed him moving closer her facial expression changed and he could see only fear in her eyes

'Please don't come closer' Ava pleaded her eyes going watery and her hands were shaking

'She is scared already and you run to her like a mad man. Way to go you moron' Jason thought in his head

'Sorry if I scared you, i'm not gonna hurt you' he said

'You aren't?' he murmured

'f*****g hell this girl is a mess!' he thought

'Of course not'

I don't why but for some reason I trusted him that he wouldn't hurt me. I gulped my saliva and slowly walked towards him and the closer I got the more stronger his masculine cologne was which made my legs feel weak

He stared at me and moved his eyes from my face to my legs then back to my face making me blush

He clenched his teeth before saying 'I am sure you have a lot of questions'

'Yes' I murmured

'I just came to check on you and now I have to hurry. But I promise to answer all of your questions later tonight. You don't need to worry, you are safe here' 

'Let me take you to the dining room, dinner is ready' he said before walking out with me following him behind

'I have to go now, I will find you later' he said before leaving

I took a seat and was served by the maid who's name I didn't know yet

JASON'S SAFEHOUSE

'I know that face Hailey, please tell me you didn't' Audrey said talking to Hailey (one of the girl members)

Audrey - you are playing with fire

'I know, but I just can't help it' Hailey sighed

Audrey - you know he is using you right

'How can you be so sure. He has changed' She said defensively 

Audrey - honey no one can change that much and you have known him for years too, you should know better

'Yeah, but you don't know what he is capable of doing in the bed' she said blushing

'No details please!' Audrey said a little bit disgusted

'Seriously, he treats you like s**t and you still always run back to him'

Hailey - I have everything under control

'I know you, ok? You can't have s*x with him without having feeling for him eventually. Boss will shoot you both if this starts to affect our work' she said angrily

'It won't!'

'Speak of the devil' Audrey sighed when she saw Zachary walking to them

'Ladies' Zachary said flirtatiously

'Bye' Audrey said leaving Hailey with him

'You wanna do something fun after the meeting' he smirked

'Ok' she said blushing

'Ok people, listen up' Jason loudly spoke and the hall went quiet straight away

'The reason I have asked you here is that I have something to tell you all. A few weeks ago me and Andrew went to the east side to make a deal with our gun seller. On our way back we stopped to eat something at a café and there was this...person that caught my attention for some reason. I had this feeling that something was wasn't like it was supposed to be and please, don't ask me where this feeling came from cause I don't even know myself. So I started to look deeper and it turned out the person was with the Predators' he said

'I hope you killed that motherfucker' Zachary said

'Even better, he took this...Person to live with him' Austin said smirking 

'He what!' Zachary said taken aback

'Austin back the f**k off' Jason shouted making him to stay quiet

Anyway, I decided to go back there to find out what's happening. I bumped into a couple Predator members and they were threatening her

'Ha.. This long he managed to hide the gender part' Andrew thought in his head smirking

So I assumed she wasn't with them by choice. And before anyone asks, yes I have thought that she can be just a good actress. But I can read people and I know there is something behind all this. We saved her and she is at my house now. I haven't had a chance to talk to her about this with her yet but I am working on it

If and when you get to meet her remember, she is very fragile and scared. Don't do anything stupid and Alex, I need you to do a background check, her name is Ava and I want to know every little detail about her

'Is there a last name?' Alex asked

No she is around 20-25 years old and if you search with her name and this area I am sure you will find the right person. When you are done bring me the files of marching persons and I will proceed from there

'What are you planning to do after you guys talk' Michael (one of the members) asked

That depends how it will go and what I find out about her

'Jason can I have a word' Paul who was sitting at the bar said and they both walked to his office

JASON'S OFFICE

'I swear Paul, if Austin wasn't one of my oldest friends I would have shot him already' Jason said angrily

'I apologise for my son's behaviour. He has trust issues and he can be a little difficult from time to time' Paul said

'You two are like me and your father' he said

Jason rolled his eyes and said 'What do you want to talk about?'

'The girl'

'What about her' he said

'Does she know about you, about us?'

Yeah, that one bastard from the café mentioned it' he said

'So you know what you have to eventually do right?' Paul asked but Jason stood there speechless

'You can't let her go son, its the law!' Paul shouted

'You think I don't know that!' Jason shouted back

Taking a deep breath he said 'You know I listen to your advise because you are who you are right? But in the end, I am the boss and I make the decisions'

'Then act like it. Do you want to put your people at risk because of one girl you know nothing about?' Paul shouted

'If she is harmless I am not going to kill her' Jason said defencelessly 

'If she knows about us, she is hardly harmless. And you cant know for sure she is innocent, don't let her fool you' Paul said

'Come on son, you know  am only thinking what is best for you all. No outsider knows who we are and how we look like. Its better that way and you know that. Do the right thing son. Your father would want that'

After they had a conversation Paul went back to the bar to look for Austin

'Can you give us a moment?' Paul asked a woman who was speaking to Austin and she left straightaway after nodding

'What' Austin said angrily

'Show some respect to your boss Austin' Paul said

'Look who is talking' Austin said

At the same time Jason was walking to the door of the hall when Andrew shouted

'How did it go?' Andrew asked

'Fantastic' Jason said rolling his arms and left 

'Whats up with him' Michael said

'I think Paul reminded him about our laws concerning the girl' Andrew said

'He knows he doesn't have to listen to him right?' Michael said

'Paul was his father's best friend. That means something to him values his opinions' He said

Jason was outside the base having a smoke when Andrew walked to him

'Are you ok?' Andrew asked

Jason - perfect

Andrew - come on man, I have known you for a long time and I know when something is bothering you

Jason - it's just...I know what I should do but it doesn't feel right

Andrew - and Paul thinks otherwise?

Jason - he just wants, I'd do things the same way like my-

'You are not your father, Jason!' Andrew said

'He was a good man and a great leader but so are you. And if you choose to do some things differently we all support you, even Paul. I think he just misses him and he shows it this way' Andrew said

'I try so hard not to dishonour his memory. I am trying o f*****g hard to do the right thing and be a good leader but it is never enough!' he said full of rage

'It is enough Jason'

'No its isn't, you don't understand! He left me!' He f*****g left me even though I wasn't ready to be a leader. Still, he decided to get himself killed and leave everything to me. Even though he has so much unfinished business! It wasn't his time to leave yet! That selfish bastard' He said angrily punching a tree and walked towards his car

'I miss him too buddy' Andrew said but Jason had left already

Paul was near the entrance and had heard the conversation they had and felt sorry for him

AVA

It was night time and I was stood at the window admiring the beautiful view in front of me. While she was staring she saw Jason walking towards the mansion looking all depressed and sad

She sighed and decided to go to sleep

Knock Knock

Ava - yes?

'I am sorry, were you already asleep?' Jason asked

'No I was just resting..' Ava said sitting up

'It wasn't my intention to take this long, do you want to talk tomorrow instead?' he asked

'No, its ok...I would like to talk now, if that is ok with you' she said softly

'Sure...I will grab a shower and I will meet you in the living room in 15' he said before leaving 

Was there something bothering him?

JASON

Paul is right, I know nothing about this girl

The Predators are involved in this somehow so I have to be rational. My people are counting on me, they trust me to lead them...

Would they support me If I decide to let her go?

I will cross that bridge if I ever come to it

BACK IN CARLOS' HOUSEHOLD

'How is it possible to loose a girl. You two are worthless! You can't even manage to do a simple task without screwing up!' Carlos shouted full of rage

'Jason hill was there with his minions...We didn't have a chance' David said

'Jason Hill eh? the head of the American mafia?' Matt asked and the two nodded

'I don't care who he is! That b***h is mine and we are going to get her back' Carlos shouted
