TY March 7 This was it. Today was the day. State championship day. As soon as I got dressed in my own locker room, I took a deep breath and looked in the mirror of the locker room. This would be the last time I ever got dressed in my Blaine jersey. I took a good look at my #55 jersey before finally looking away. Today was the last hockey game of my high school career. Throughout the playoffs, I had tried to push away the thought that the next game I played would possibly be my last.
