Shop-Shop

Isabella’s POV I was getting ready to put everything in its spot when I noticed some things missing. I decided to wait in case it was somewhere else that wasn’t supposed to be there. I grabbed all the sofa’s and put them in one corner, the tables in another, the beds in another, metal in a different spot, and it went on for ages. I saw my brothers’ brought some help so we did everything quicker. Once we were done it was already lunch time, but I noticed some things missing so I checked my list and indeed a lot of things were missing and one thing for certain something that I held dear to me as my grandmother gave it to me. It even had my name hidden on the bottom, but nobody would ever see it if they were trying to look for it unless they knew where it was. “Hey, a few things are missing, where are they?” I asked the truck driver. “A man said it was his so he took them.” He told me. “You will be sued as I gave your boss instructions not to allow anyone to take it.” I said. “Ma’am we couldn’t do anything because he had the paperwork for it.” He told me. “He had forged paperwork! He didn’t have the right to any of this s***! The things you gave away was something that is important to me and my f*****g family! You will either get it back or you’re going to be sued!” I yelled at him. “I-I’m sorry ma’am, but we c-can’t get it b-back on-once it is out o-of our possession.” He told me. “Then you will sue on your own because your boss knew I didn’t want to give it to anybody. You know what; I will sue the whole company.” I muttered. “Wait please no!” He yelled, but I already walked away. I texted my lawyer what happened and he said he will get everything done before tomorrow. I thanked him, but I know that it will be hard to convince anyone to go against them of all people. “What happened?” Zachary asked me. “Zay-Zay, they stole the crib granny gave me.” I whispered. “WHAT!” He yelled. “Don’t start anything. I already have my lawyer getting it the legal way. If it doesn’t work then he will see the real me.” I said. “Does this mean you’re-” I cut him off. “Yep.” I muttered. He smiled big knowing what I was going to do if I didn’t get my things back. “Everyone can go home! I’m going to close up shop!” I yelled. Everyone left, but it looked like they didn’t want to. I smiled softly at them. “Hey, come to our shop.” James told me. I nodded and locked everything up. Once it was locked up I made sure that everything would be good to go until the morning. I left quickly and followed James to the shop. ~~~ Once we pulled up I knew this was a shop-shop for the mechanics. I got out of the truck and walked over to one of the men who were trying to figure out what was with an old car. “Oh it’s just that. It needs to be fixed. Here I can help you.” I said. I quickly got the tools and fixed the part that was broken. He looked shocked, but quickly turned on the car and smiled. “Daddy, raised a working girl.” I told him. “Well, he did a great job.” He told me. “I was the only girl in the family so it had to be done.” I told him. He nodded and sighed. “There’s a bike that nobody can figure out what is wrong with it. If you can fix it then you can have it.” He told me. “Really?” I asked. “Yes. It was dropped off here two years ago, but nobody wants to give up on the thing so when we have down time we all try to fix it. Nobody could seem to figure out what the problem is.” He told me. “What’s your name?” I asked. “Everyone calls Mechanic because I’m always working on vehicles.” He told me. “Well I'm calling you Mec.” I told him. He smiled and nodded. “Mechanic!” Hayden yelled. “HE’S BUSY WITH ME!” I yelled back to him. Everyone looked shocked besides my brother’s. When I’m talking to someone I don’t like them to be called away. “Can you show me the bike?” I asked Mec. “Let me just see what he wants, then I will come and show you.” He told me. “Fine, only because I know he’s your damn boss.” I told him. He nodded and walked away. I noticed two females watching me, but I didn’t care. I checked out another car and fixed it quickly without anyone knowing. I kept doing that till Mec found me. “I fixed all the cars. I didn’t get the chance to check out the bikes.” I told him. “Really?” He asked. “Yeah they were all just small things.” I told him. He nodded and sighed. “Thank you. You gave me more time to work with you.” He told me. I smiled nodding. He walked to the back of the shop where I saw a cool bike. I bent down and checked it out. I found the problem. They also made it worse trying to fix other things. I took out my phone and typed out what parts I needed to get and fixed them. I sent it to James who sighed and walked to the office. I loved cars and bikes. All the ones my father has are because of me. I was eight when he showed me how to fix cars and I was ten when he taught me how to fix bikes. Everything we have is because I gave it to them. I fixed everything before I left and made sure they knew not to f*** it up. “Well I guess I will see you tomorrow.” I told Mec. “See ya.” He said. I smiled and looked at him one last time. He stands at 6’3 feet with brown curly short hair with brown eyes. I saw James waiting by his truck scrolling. “What?” I asked. “You know it’s late.” He said. “Let me just have this one happiness.” I whined with a pout. He sighed and nodded. “How old is Mec?” I asked. “I think 25; why?” He asked. “He looks younger.” I muttered. “He was ten when Hayden’s uncle hired him.” He told me. I nodded. “Well, I’m going to a cafe and getting food then I will be home.” I told him. He nodded and opened the driver door. I got in and smiled. He said bye and walked away. I took off quickly wanting to get away from this shop-shop. I decided just to go home so I can go to sleep because I was tired.
