Work

Isabella’s POV I sighed as I got up off the floor. Everything came in late last night, but I didn’t have anywhere to sleep so I unpacked what I needed to and grabbed some blankets I decided to keep. I folded the blankets and put them in the downstairs closet as I’ve been sleeping in the living room. I quickly went and took a shower. I am a nurse at a local nursing home and I run my own business on the side. Today I was splitting my time so I can find a shop to be able to put my things. The men who came to drop off my things are in a hotel waiting for me to give them the okay, to drop everything off at a shop. I put on my scrubs and quickly grabbed my bag throwing in other clothes for after my job at the nursing home. I quickly left and saw Jammy waiting outside. “Hey Jammy.” I whispered as he smiled. I noticed his bike beside his truck. “I am trusting you with my baby. Treat her well. Have to do things out of town for a while so won’t be back till late.” He told me. “Okay, I will text you when I get to work.” I told him. “Text me when you're on break and when you’re leaving the nursing home.” He told me. “I will, Jammy. I love you.” I said, kissing his cheek. He opened the driver door to let me in. Once I was in he closed it and sighed. “Be safe. We will see you when you get back home.” He told me. “Oh, tell your friends I’m cooking tonight. I will go shopping for more food after I look for the shop.” I told him. “I will. Drive safe.” He told me. “I will.” I muttered and started the truck. I quickly put it in drive and took off. I sighed as I drove into town. ~~~ I just got off of work and I am now changed into blue jeans with a cute top. I walked over to the truck and sighed. I was checking out a new building which was two grand a month. I get that with my nursing job. I decided that I would get it. “Yes. I’m sure I want it. We can do weekly payments so you know I am good for it. I have ten grand on me right now, so can I pay for two months worth of payments?” I asked. “That sounds like a plan.” The man told me. I noticed bikers pulling up behind the truck so I sighed and grabbed the gun under the seat. Jammy never goes anywhere without his guns so I know where they all are. “You just have to sign these.” The man said. I grabbed it and was about to read the papers. “You just need to sign them.” He told me. “I will read it first. I know men like you.” I said, glaring at him. “Just sign it!” He growled. “You heard the lady. She needs to read it before she signs the contract.” A male said, behind me. I took a quick peak and saw it was the man I held with a knife. I learned his name was Hayden and he was the leader of their biker gang. The man looked away as I read everything. My eyes were popping out as I read everything. He wanted me to basically give him all of my money and it says that if he sees fit he could take all of my product at any given time. “F****** d***! You think because I’m a f****** girl I don’t know these damn f****** tricks! I work! I do my thing! If you wanted to rip someone off you could have done with that f****** man over there! Even if you wouldn’t get away with it! You f****** prick! I swear that I will make sure everyone knows you are a bad businessman! Nobody would want to do business with you!” I yelled. Hayden and his men just stood there in shock. “I-I will give this shop to you for free! Please don’t hurt me!” He begged. “Sign the place over to her and we won’t hurt you.” Hayden said. “D-Do y-you p-promise?” The man asked. “I don’t know about him, but when I make a promise I keep it. I am a woman of my word so you have my word that they won’t touch you. They will have to go through me.” I told him. “You heard her. If her word isn't enough I will show you what is.” Hayden said, taking a step to the man, but I pushed him back. “F-Fine!” The man stuttered. I nodded and watched as he pulled things out. He called someone and said a few words. Asked me for my business name and personal stuff. Once that was done I felt my phone ring. I pulled it out smirking as I saw it was my lawyer. “Hello?” I asked. “Did you just make a deal to get a shop for free and to make sure this man doesn’t do it again?” My lawyer asked. “I did. Hey, take away his s*** slowly. Make it look like people don’t want to do business with him.” I told him. “Isabella! I am your lawyer; not some freaking criminal!” He whispered, yelled. “That’s where you forget I know you and your family. Get it done and you get twenty percent of everything.” I said. “Twenty-five.” He said. “Deal.” I said, smirking. “Nice doing business with you, Isabella.” He said. “You too, Brandon.” I said. We hung up so I looked at everyone smiling. Thank god I walked away from everyone so they didn’t hear what I was saying. “Nice doing business with you. Next time don’t screw over someone who was being nice.” I said. He nodded and quickly left. “I got a plan to hurt him so you don’t have to do it. I know the code you all go by and I don’t need you to protect me just because my brother’s run in your crowd.” I said and got into the truck. I took off to the supermarket as I was going to get food and drinks. ~~~ I’m finally home! I saw my brothers’ and best friend outside waiting for me. I knew better than to open the door so I waited for them to open it for me. “Thank you; DD.” I said to Damon with a big smile. He nodded, kissing my cheek. The boys called over some of their friends to help them take everything down. I already called the people to take all my things to the shop tomorrow since I wasn’t working at the nursing home. I also bought things for the house like two bed sets, a sofa, three TV’s, and a coffee table. I just need the basic things right now. I will buy more when I get my business up and running. “Hey sis, where do you want everything?” Jackson asked. “I bought a deep freezer that’s downstairs in the basement so all the meat is down there. Alcohol in the fridge along with all the other drinks. Can goods in the pantry along with the boxes. Fruits and vegetables in the fridge. Oh keep out the hamburger meat along with the brisket s**t because that’s what I’m making.” I told him. “I will, sis.” He said, softly. “Thank you Bubba!” I yelled after him. I quickly got my pots and pans cleaned and walked outside. I cleaned my grill and sighed. Yep, I'm making food for men again. I love cooking so I don’t mind doing it. When I was done I noticed everyone was watching me. I walked back inside and started cooking everything. I finished by eight so we decided it was going to be a party. Everyone invited thor women and w***** of the biker club. So right now I’m getting me a beer, but someone handed it to me. I thanked the person and walked away. I made sure everyone was okay about three times. I was the host and I needed to make sure my guest felt good and happy. When it hit two in the morning everyone started leaving my house which made me sad, but I understood. I sighed and cleaned up after everyone. I noticed everyone left their cars, trucks, and bikes here. Smart guys. I will make them breakfast in the morning, for getting them drunk. Once everything was done I grabbed my beer and walked outside to the porch in the back. I sat down on a chair and closed my eyes.
