Alicia wakes up to the smell of coffee, and when she opens her eyes, her mom is standing next to her bed with a mug.
“Good morning, sweetheart. I don’t want to rush you, but you should get up soon. We have to leave for the hairdresser.”

Today is the day. She is getting married to Noah today, and by late tonight, they will be on a plane or possibly a train. She still doesn’t know where they are going.
