Grocery Store
I was standing at my locker minding my own business. I wasn't concerned about anything, but going to class and passing this math test.
"Hey Chelsea" a voice said causing me to turn around.
"What can I help you with Noah?" I asked with a straight face.
I've known him since 9th grade and he's always trying to get my attention.
"Are you free this Friday?" He asked rubbing his hand through his hair.
"No. I'm always expensive."
"Baby your body is wonderland" he blurted.
"Really Baby, but your body is wasteland" I chirped.
He huffed and tried again.
"What's your sign babygirl"
By now, many people were crowding around us and I was willing to continue this.
"Umm...my sign is DO NOT ENTER"
"If I could rearrange the alphabet, I'd put U and I together."
I'm not gonna lie that was pretty good.
"And if I could rearrange the alphabet, I'd put F and U together" I hissed and laughed.
"Your body makes heads turn"
I could tell he was about to give up.
"Your face can make stomachs turn." I laughed at myself.
"Chelsea, you know you like me too. Why can't you stop being so stuck up." He asked.
"I'm not being stuck up Noah. I just don't find anything about you that I like. Plus boys are the least of my concerns right now." I slammed by locker and walked away.
How sick and desperate can people really be nowadays?

School was the same old thing and with my Hispanic best friend out of town, life couldn't be more boring.
So I decided to facetime her.
"Hey Valentina. Girl I'm so bored. What you up to?" I began.
She smiled at me.
"Well Chelsea I'm going through your insta and you ain't posted your daily picture as usual. Why?"
I face palmed myself for forgetting to do that.
"Well it looks like I am in my pajamas."
I picked up my phone before snapping a picture of myself in my pink pajamas.
Honestly, it could actually be pretty embarrassing, but who cares.
"I see it now. Aww look at my bestie in America while I'm up in Mexico." She chirped.
"What are you wearing tomorrow" I asked Valentina.
She walked away from the screen before pulling out these burgundy jeans with a white shirt.
It was pretty cute.
She paired it with some white converse, jean jacket, and gold bracelets.
"That's right bestie. Tell them amigos whose there" I squealed.
"What you wearing Chels(shells)"
"I don't know yet." I moved from my bed and walked inside my closet.
I pulled out my favorite pink hoodie and simple black jeans. Followed with black converse.
I forgot to mention that Valentina and I both have a converse collection.
"That's cute. Maybe Noah will be over you again" I huffed at the thought of today's situation and she quickly recognized it.
"Is it really that bad? Chels he tries so hard every day. Noah is pathetic." She explained.
"I know right and then calls me stuck up."
Valentina looked down not looking at me through the screen.
"Seriously Val, you think I'm stuck up too" I asked with shock in voice.
"Well I mean yeah. You don't find any type of time to spend with a cute or hot boy, but your stuck up ways is making you successful now. So keep doing it." I groaned at her first words.
"You'll meet someone and you won't be able to resist them. Just watch." She predicted.
"Valentina baja ese estúpido teléfono" I heard her mom yell.
(Translation:Valentina get off that stupid phone)
She rolled her eyes and we said our goodbyes.
"Mamá, los teléfonos no son estúpidos, especialmente los míos." She hissed back.
(Translation:Mom, phones are not stupid, especially not mine)
I laughed at their crazy bond and hung up.
I felt my stomach grumble and I walked towards the kitchen.
"Hey Dad" I said and kissed his cheek.
"Where's mom?" I blurted while looking through the fridge for an apple or something.
"Oh, she's out with some of her friends" my dad answered with his apple bobbing up and down.
Awkward.
I sighed not able to find any type of fruit, so I grabbed my dad's car keys.
My dad owns a BMW i8. It's one of my favorites.
My family is pretty wealthy, but we don't go around and spend money like those Kardashian. We use money when needed.
My family and I used to move around a lot since my Dad works for the government, but we're here to stay.
I hope.
"Dad we have nothing in this fridge. I'm going to the store" I shouted as I left to the garage.
He shouted back, but I was long gone.
I forgot that I was in my pajamas, so I had to run to my room to change.
All I had to do was change in what I wore today. Very simple.
Once I changed, I rushed down the stairs and crept into the garage.
When I looked inside, I realized that the white range over looked better with my outfit choice, so I drove in that.

I pushed the grocery cart grabbing a ton of snacks that'd make me fat in 2 days.
But my period is coming, so I gotta be prepared. Honestly that was a terrible excuse to get all these sugary foods.
I guess I could share though. Or not.
I giggled at myself.
As I walked down the aisle, I smiled brightly as my eyes landed on a big bag of hot fries. I reached for it until I lost grip on them and they fell.
Me being me, a deep voice considered to help me, but I denied. The voice was husky and it made me want to look up, but I refused. I bent down to grab the bag and me and the man I wanted to look at head-budded me.
"Oh God-I'm sorry" I said lifting up as he grabbed the bag of chips.
He handed them to me.
At that moment, our eyes locked into one another's. He had blue ocean eyes that I'd just drown in.
Chelsea focus. Boys aren't important right now.
"It's fine. Here's your chips." He smiled at me and his voice only put me deeper into thought.
I stepped back away from him and fell straight into the basket behind me.
I'm such an awkward i***t.
The man giggled at my sudden weirdness and helped me out the basket. And I didn't say a word.
"I'm sorry. I'm super clumsy today" I said removing my hand.
"You're cute. I'm Drayton-call me Dray." I blushed.
"Well Dray" I smiled at how good the name sounded rolling off my tongue.
"-I'm Chelsea. This is so embarrassing" I tried so hard to wipe the blush off my face, but it was only worse.
"Chelsea you're cute. We should hang out some time." He offered.
My mouth hung wide open and my words were caught in my throat.
