The Rouge Angel

Prologue "Alice, my love, where are you?" I hear my husband, the love of my life, calling for me. I smile to myself as I rub my swollen belly. "I'm out here, my love," I say from the balcony overlooking our kingdom.Damien walks out onto the balcony and smiles, looking at me. "Hello my love, how are you and our little princesses doing today?" I laugh as our daughter kicks at the sound of her father's deep baritone voice. "We are wonderful, my love, and it seems like she is even happier now that you are here." He smiles as we walk over and kisses me hungryly. I wrap my arms around his neck, kissing him back just as hungryly. Do we have time, my love, before our guesses are here? I ask him as he breaks the kiss. "Sadly, my love, we don’t." Damien looks at me sadly as he pulls back, but I can tell by the look in his eyes that we will continue this later. I bit my lip at the promise in his eyes. Someone broke the spell all too quickly for my liking as there was a knock at our bedroom door. "Come in," Damien calls out to the person on the other side of the door. In walks our best friend and their two sons. I smile as the two little blond boys run over to me. I look down at Max and his brother, Lucifer. The two of them are twined. Lucifer is the oldest by 2 minutes. Lucifer has the same blond hair as his brother, but they have different eye colors. Where Max has bright blue eyes, Lucifer has dark green eyes. Other than that, they look the same. They both put their hands on my belly and smiled as my daughter kicked. I look up at their parents and smile. "Hello, John and Melody, it's great to see you." They smile and watch their sons fight over who their daughter is going to marry. I look at them and laugh, "little ones Lilly will choose who she wishes to marry when she is old enough for that. Till then, you are to guard her from anything that will harm her. They both look at me and nod, smiling as they rub my belly. "So we have some bad news." Damien looks at John when he says that. "What is it, my friend?" John sighs and looks at me and then at Damien. It's your sister, Damien. She is the leader of the fallen angels and plans to attack when Alice gives birth. " Damien looks at me in shock and hurt that his own family would side with the enemy. "Why is she waiting till Alice gives birth?" Damien asks John. He shakes his head.I don’t know my king. I can only think that she plans to take out your heir to the throne. " Damien has a look of pure murder on his face as he looks at him. "She wants to kill my child and my wife so that she can roll," he yells. I look at the two boys as they shake. "Damien, my love, please calm down. We know now and can plan. " I look at him and smile. He nods and calls for the guards, telling them to double all the guards and have round-the-clock patrols on the grounds. They nod and leave to do as their king ordered them to. At about that time, I felt a sharp pain in my stomach and I cried out in pain. Damien runs over to me.What is it, my love? What's wrong? " I looked at him through my tears that I didn’t know where I was falling. Our daughter is coming. It's time. My love. He looks at me in shock and then yells at John to get the doctors. Melody takes the two boys to another room. Damien helps me up and walks me to the bed, where I lie down and scream in pain. We can’t wait for the doctors. Damien, she is coming now. He looks at me with pain and love in his eyes as he calls for Melody, and she runs back into the room to help deliver my child. I scream and cry and I push and then I hear the most beautiful sound a mother can hear. My daughter cries as she is born. Just as they are cleaning her up and handing Lilly to me, the alarm goes off. Damien looks at me and Lilly as he runs to the window and looks out. He sees over a thousand fallen angels flying towards the castle. "Alice, leave and take Lilly with you." Damien yells as he looks over at me. "I am not leaving you, my love. Melody, take Lilly and your boys and leave them here. Take them to your world, to earth. " Melody looks at me, then at Damien as he nods. She takes Lilly from me and I cry because I know this is the last time I will ever see my daughter
