I had just walked out of my class and was heading to the lunchroom when I saw Lilly. I go to call for her, but I see she is talking to someone. When I get closer, I see that it's a fallen angel. f**k, I say to myself as I grab my phone out of my pocket. I call my brother, "Yo little bro, what's up?" I keep walking towards Lily and the fallen angel. Lucifer, I need you to come to my school. Now there is a fallen angel in her and she is talking to Lilly. " On the other end of the line, I hear him curse."Ya, that's what I said, brother, now hurry." I hang up on him when I hear the girl say she wants Lilly to die. I yell and run to where Lilly is on the ground. I put my hands on the wound and held a presser on it to stop the blood flow. I hear the girl laugh, and I look up at her. "Awww, look, it's the white knight coming to save the princesses," she laughs. I grab one of my daggers and throw it at her. I hit her right in her leg."b***h, you are lucky. I need you alive or I would kill you for touching her." She laughs and sits on the floor as her leg bleeds out all over the floor. I look down at Lilly. She looks like an angel, which is funny because she is an angel.

She comes from the same world as me and my brother. The angelic realm is where all the angels live, or will live before the attack on the kingdom. Lilly’s mother and father were the king and queen of the realm, which made Lilly a princess. She is also the last of her kind. I know what you're thinking, max, but aren't you and your brother angel thinking the same thing?The answer to that question would be "no." My brother and I are only half angel and half human. Our mother was human and our father was the angel that was there the day the fallen angels attacked. I looked up from my walk down memory lane to see my brother running down the empty hall. How he got past the watchdog in the front office is beyond me. "Yo bro, did you get the b***h that did this?" I smile at my brothers' greeting and nod to where the b***h is sitting on the floor bleeding out. "Dame baby, bro, nice aim. At least now we can find out how the hell they found us. " I nod my head and look at Lilly. She looks so pale and fragile. "Hey bro, call Nix and his brothers to take care of the trash so we can get Lilly the help she needs." He nods his head and pulls out his phone and calls Nix. I see the fallen turn ghost white when she hears Nix’s name and I smile. We know Nix and his brothers are demons we know and helped when our mom first came back to earth. I know them for not being so nice to people that hurt the people they love or protect. I pick Lilly up slowly as to not cause her any more pain. I walk out of the side door and into my car. I know my brother won’t leave till Nix and they show up to take that b***h away. I get back to the house and take Lilly to my room and start cleaning her up and bandaging her wound. I sit back as I finish and look up to see my brother standing there."You know we are going to have to tell her what is going on, right?" I give him the "no s**t" look. I have loved Lilly since I met her when I was 13 and I am 18 now. But from what our mom told us, it seems that me and Lucifer would always run to Alice, who was Lilly’s mom, and fight over who Lilly would marry. "There isn’t much we can do. She is in a healing sleep. So all we can do now is wait till she walks up and goes from there. I walk out of the room and sit on the couch as I look at my brother. Does Nix have that b***h chained up somewhere? He nods and walks to the kitchen, grabs us each a beer, and walks back over to me. I take my beer and open it. I take a long pull off it and look up at the ceiling.Talk to me, little bro. What is going on in that head of yours? " My brother asks me to stay quiet for a while. "Do you think Lilly can do it?" I look over at him as I ask. He sighs and gets up, walking to where Mom's journals are stored. I really don’t know, bro. All we can do is wait and see, and hope. " I nod and continue walking as he pulls out his phone and makes a call. I know that he is more than likely calling Nix or one of his brothers. I sit there by myself, listening to Lilly’s breathing as I think of all the things I want to say. I think back to when I first saw Lilly.

3 years earlier.

Do it, I hate it. Lucifer is the one that gets to stay at home and do nothing all day while I have to go to school. It is all because he is so smart and graduated when he was 12. So I have to go to school and he gets to do nothing. I walk into the school and look around when I see her. She is so beautiful that I almost walked right into a wall. I shake myself as I look around to make sure no one saw what had happened. No one was looking my way when I heard a musical sound. I looked around to see if someone was playing music, but there wasn’t any music. It was her laughing with her friend. I blush and walk into the front office to get my class schedule. I look at it and walk to my first class. As I walk in, I run into someone. I look up to see it's the girl from earlier. I looked right into her liquid gold eyes and sucked in a sharp breath. "Ummm hello," I say, blushing as I look at her.She smiles and waves at me. She walks into the class, making me wonder who the hell she is.
