Leaving Landon unconscious in the snow was the hardest thing I'd ever had to do, but I knew he would be found within the hour. People would notice he was gone when he didn't show up for the march to the Rogue King. This might have been stupid to do on my own, but Landon would never have agreed to it, and if I could get this potion into the King, then when Landon and the army got there, it would be much easier to kill him. If Landon or anyone had come with me, the Rogue King never would have believed I was there to be with him as his mate. I needed him to think I had left Landon, at least long enough to do what I needed and for everyone else to get there.
