Nina POV
I giggled uncontrollably as Ali cracked another silly joke. Lizzy chortled, joining in on the laughter. We ignored the weird stares we were getting from the other Lycans passing through the hallways until we stumbled toward my front door.
I laughed, fumbling for my keys through my dress pocket before I finally managed to insert it into the lock, but noticed that it was not locked. I looked at the key and then back to the door.
"Maybe I forgot to lock it before leaving," I shrugged, pushing the worried thoughts away, and walked right inside.
But my grin froze on my face the moment my feet stepped inside the room.
I went rigid, and my heart skipped a beat as my gaze fell on the person sitting right on the cushion. The laughter died down in my throat.
