I sat across from Ryder, watching as he popped a juicy grape into his mouth. His eyes closed in appreciation, and I couldn't help but roll my eyes.
Was he not against me stepping out, but he had already consumed half of the fruits?
Ugmo! I taunted in my head and scoffed, yet my eyes moved back to his face, watching him bite into the fruits.
I swallowed, noticing the way the sunlight danced across his features, highlighting the sharp planes of his face.... It was mesmerizing.
