Chapter 15
I am moving towards a glowing white forest. I am naked and I can almost feel the warmth of the forest against my skin. I don’t know how I am moving. I am not walking. I am not floating. But I am getting closer and closer to the forest.
Finally I am close enough to see the trees. Pure white trees. They are so white I can see through their bark and see the sap moving through their veins. Some of the trees have eyes, yet I am not afraid. I feel safe here, protected from the darkness that surrounds the forest. Even as I look over my shoulders, past the two trees on either side of me, I can see that I am leaving the darkness far behind.
