Dad talk

I was taking a bath when I feel my wolf getting excited "what is it, Ella?"

"Nothing I’m just excited to meet our mate" she said explaining. Of course, you are, Ella.

Our wolves get affected the most during mating season or the age when you can finally meet your mate.

"of course, you are" I got out of the bath then put my dress on and play with my phone for a minute

"I hate this game'' I groaned

"But you keep on playing it" Ella replied

"Because It’s entertaining me"

How can a game stress me out but still entertain me?

*knock knock*

I stood up when someone knocked on my door hoping that it's not my brothers

"Come in" I said then I realized it was my father

"You look beautiful sweetheart" He told me, He hugged me tightly

"Thanks, Dad, Thanks to you and mom's beautiful genes."

It's true. My parents are known to be one of the most good-looking partners here in our pack.

"What’s with the hugging though" I asked him while awkwardly laughing. Please don’t tell me that dad also wants me to meet my mate.

"I just think that what if you’ll meet your mate tonight? Then you'll leave us. I’m hoping that you won’t meet him anytime soon" He said looking down, avoiding my gaze

Wow. I never thought that I'd hear something like this tonight. It made me feel butterflies... but not in my stomach but my chest.

"But it’s not like I’m going to die or something, dad. I will always be with you, I promise" I replied putting my hands under his chin trying to comfort him.

"I just love you very much sweetie, Me, your mother, and your brothers, we love you. I hope your mate will love you as much as we love you" I pushed back the tears that were slowly pouring out of my eyes.
