The Ghost Helper

"Help me." "Please, help us." In this world where I belong, I just ignore and pretend that I didn't see them. When I was a kid, they always bully me because of this. I can see ghost. For some reason, it all started when my parents died because of car accident. They were coming home from a business meeting when the car in which my mom and dad were riding lost its brake. Because I was just seven years old back then, I rush out the house to go to the hospital without thinking and minding my surroundings. And on that day, I was unlucky too because a big wheeler truck hit me. I was in coma for many months, before I recovered. The doctor said it was a miracle. But, I also lost my memories. Right now, I was just living with my grandparents. I also work to sustain our daily needs at home. Our company? My family is in debt, and the company is the exchange as compensation. As what I said, I've been bullied. I don't have friends nor acquaintances. I always eat alone in the school rooftop. I am very aloof and scared to entertain people—well, I've been traumatized. Until when I was a freshman year when I met her. She stood up against all the bullying that I've been suffered. She accompanied me to eat lunch, to do my assignments... She's always there for me all the time. On that day, I didn't feel alone at all. She became my friend. She keeps on doing things just to make me smile. Her family is very nice to me. But, not until she left me on my birthday and didn't say any single word. And thought of that, I'm back with my old self again. Carl Francis Santiago. And, this my story.
