HARPER'S POV I watched with keen interest as Roman got into the car and zoomed off. First, he had chalked it up to wanting to be at school early. For the sake of the moon goddess! Everyone, especially us , knew we didn't even need school. Except for a few special classes. Christopher walked up next to me, “He's off again,” I stated. He barely grunted his response. “I suppose he has a new girl he's trying to impress,” his tone was casual. When he stopped talking, it was then I realized the atmosphere was quiet— too quiet.
