Chapter Fourteen
The elevator doors slide open, silent when they reached the lowest level of the TZC complex. Surprisingly there were seventeen levels below the lobby. They were now seventeen floors underground.
Aloha had a touch of claustrophobia so she had to steady herself and concentrate to settle her vague feeling of unease. Still tiny beads of sweat had formed on her upper lip and her skin felt damp underneath her uniform. It made her skin feel clammy and she hated it. She would have preferred to have a shower right now, but the tour of this facility could be important.
Pepper had been silent during the ride on the elevator after she explained why she called him Herr Director. She explained since Zero had referred to him as Herr Director she should as well. He coldly explained
