Chapter 6: crazy ex and A rescue.

Logan POV.

I arrived home. I know I need to just accept that fact I have to share Ashlee with the Asher twins. I don’t like it, but I can’t keep her from them. I didn’t like the fact he was flirting with her right in front of me. And the fact my boss is their dad, which means not only do I need to be nice to them for Ashlee but the sake of my job too. I picked up my phone seen I had 10 missed calls from Madison. She has been blowing up my phone since this morning, first thing I woke up to this morning was texts from her, I have been in a bad mood all because of her. I saved her number who knew to ignore it. I didn’t tell my mom, Why me and Madison broke up, but Madison seems to get her to give my new number. I decided to call her and get it over with.

“Baby! Finally been trying to get ahold of you all day. I’ve missed you, my body misses you.” He said to me, “ I wish you were here so you could be in me, nice and hard, I am getting wet just thinking about it, baby.”

“Madison, quit. I broke up with you. Save it for someone else. Or maybe even Justin.” I said to her angrily.

“No baby, no can make me feel this way, please let’s work on it. No one makes me feel the like you make feel when we are f******…” she said to me.

“MADISON, I’m not interested. There’s someone else anyway. It’s over between us..why don’t you get it.” I said kinda yelling at her.

“Who is it? You already found some else? You just left!!!!” She said about to cry.

“Doesn’t matter just leave me alone.. BYE!!!!” I said ask I hung up the phone.

Why are some girls just so crazy. I decided to text Ashlee, she will make feel better.

Me; Hey gorgeous. Having fun? I miss you.

Ashlee: hey. Yes I am actually. I miss you too xoxo

Me: afterwards do you want company? I wanna sleep next to you again, I’ve missed that.

Ashlee: I don’t know yet I’ll get back to you. See you later, or tomorrow. Xoxo

I decided to order some food, and watch a movie, cause I was bored. I watched 3 movies, still didn’t hear back from Ashlee.

So I decided to go to bed cause I was pretty exhausted. I set my alarm and went to sleep.

***Ring ring ring****

I woke up to my phone ringing, didn’t even look who was calling before answering.

“Hello?” I said half asleep.

“Logan, I need your help!!!” I hear her voice.

“What’s wrong babe?” I asked, worried.

She started to cry, “I am at the bar on main st, I need you to come get me.” She said, “I was here with Liam, but we got into an argument, and he stepped outside, and now I can’t find him. That’s was like 30 minutes ago.”

“I’m on my way, Ash.” I said jump so fast up, and running out the door.

I got into my face and reached out of the parking a lot. I am pissed that Liam, left her there. Thought he was so proactive of her but leaves her at a bar drunk, are you serious? It look me. About 15 minutes to get there, I called her But hung up the phone when I was her stand outside, stumbling. I got out of the car, and went over to help her in the car.

She was pretty wasted, I decided I was gonna take her to my place. By time I got home, she was asleep. I got outta the car walked over and carefully opened the passenger door. I picked her up and carried her into my apartment. I walked into my bedroom and laid her in my bed and covered her up, I walked away to go get her some pain killers for when she woke up, and a trash can from the bathroom. As I was walking out , she started tossing her sleep, she smiled and said something that I wish I would never have to hear.

“Thanks Liam, I love you, always have, always will.” She said before turning over and passing back out.

I could not believe what I was hearing, I got pissed and walking into my kitchen to grab some whiskey.. drinking it right from the bottle. I look over at the time, I had to be up in couple hours for work but I didn’t want to go back to sleep. I put the whiskey back, and just sat on the couch. I knew Ashlee wouldn’t be going to work today, so I came up with an excuse why she wouldn’t be there. I sat on the couch til it was time to get ready for work. I left Ashlee a text before walking out the door,

Me: Hey how you feeling? Pain killers are on the bed next to you. Don’t worry about work, I got you covered. Let me know if you leave.

I got into my car and headed off work. I walked into Mr.Asher’s office to talk to him about Ashlee.

“Goodmorning, Mr Miller, what could I do you for?” He asked me,

As I sat down, I said, “Ashlee won’t be into work today. I figured I just let know you.”

He looked at me worried and asked why.

I wanted to lie for her but at the same time I wanted to tell him the truth to let him know what his son did her.

“Uhm. Not gonna lie to you, sir. Ashlee just went to bed drunk. She went hung out with Liam, and she called me in the middle of the night, drunk and upset because Liam took her to the bar and they caught while being drunk and he left her there with no ride. I hope you don’t take this out on Ashlee because this isn’t like her to do. She’s not a big drinker.” I said to him.

He looked pissed and started regretting telling him the truth.

“I know, Ashlee is a good girl. My sons have always brought her down to their level, I was always hoping she would change them but in reality, they are changing her..” he said to me, “As your guys boss, I am gonna be pretend you didn’t tell me that, tho. For sake of Ashlee’s job, I don’t need people to know, I ain’t consequence her for doing this. Now the sake of not being the boss, and being his father, I’ll take care of it.”

“Thank you. I’m sorry.” I said walking out.

I was still pissed what I heard Ashlee said when I put her in my bed. I wish she would just take me back, I love and don’t know if I could handle seeing her with Liam. I don’t know what I am gonna do. I went into my office and decided to get to work, try and get my mind off thing.

The day was already half way over, I was busy pretty much most of the day. As I walked out outta my office, I saw both of the twins walking towards their dads office. Both laughing in a good mood, I shuck my head, pissed, wanting to go up to Liam and punch him in the face. I went to meeting after seeing them. The meeting was about an hour and half, during the netting I felt my phone vibrate. I pulled it out seining Ashlee had texted me,

Ashlee: thank you. I don’t remember what happened last night. I don’t even remember getting your place. Whatever you did tho Thank you. Logan. We’re they mad I wasn’t at work today? No I think I am gonna take a shower and go back to sleep here, so I ain’t leaving. I hope you don’t mind me stealing some of your clothes. See you when you get home, babe. ;)

As I was about to put my phone away, another text came through..

Ashlee. I hope I didn’t say or do anything to embarrass my self.

I put my my phone away and got back to the meeting. As I left and walked into my office, I saw something there that was I welcomed. Liam.

“Do you need something? I said, getting angry at him.

He stood there as I walked through the door and went behind me and shut the door.

“I don’t what you’re trying to do, but whatever it is, it not gonna work.” He said to me.

“What the he** are you talking about!?”

He smirked at me, “Running to my dad telling him my business last night. Stay outta it, Ashlee probably isn’t gonna like that you told him the truth why she wasn’t here.” He said to me.

“None of my business? It was my business when I got a phone call in the middle of night, and her crying cause you decided to fight with her and then leave her at the bar.

“Whatever I do with my best friend is none of your business. She ain’t gonna be with you anymore, so stop trying. I’ll make sure if it too.” He said to me walking away. “Oh by the way, consider this a warning, stay outta my way, she’s now mine. You lost your chance a******!!!”

He left my office, I was more pissed. He’s not gonna sit here and threat me, when he was the one that left her yesterday.
