Chapter twelve; Finding out.

Logan POV;

Since this was technically my first day with my new position, I was more busy then ever. I had catch up since no one hasn’t done anything since Friday. It was weird yesterday not having Ashlee around but also think it was a good thing. I had to help the new guy out, and it was easy because I wasn’t detracted. I got here an hour early to get a jump on this work. I’ve already been at work for three hours, I just been so busy. Just then I heard an voice outside my office door, that just makes me angry every time I hear his voice. But that means, Ashlee is officially back. I hope she is doing ok with the new guy. There was an knock at my door, it was my new assistant telling me my meeting was in 10 minutes, I thanked her.

I got up, and grabbed my things to head to my meeting. As my past my old office, I saw Ashlee at her desk, laughing. Her laugh was so beautiful. I gave her a half smile when she saw me and headed into the conference room. The meeting took about an hour. As I walked out, I didn’t see Ashlee anywhere, which was a good thing. I hate not seeing her, but at the same time it’s hard for me to see her while we are going through this.

I returned to my office, getting to work right away. Since I came in early, I didn’t wanna stay too late. Next thing I know there was an knock on my office door.

“Come in,” I said.

“Hey, can we talk?” She said to me,

“Yeah come in.” I said to Ashlee, she seemed upset about something.

“I need to talk to you about something that your probably gonna hate me for, but I ask one favor..” she said to me, as I see a tear drip down her face. “Will you please let me first before reacting or telling me to get out of your office.”

Now I was nervous. “Ok, I promise.” I said to her.

“I don’t know how to start this. But Uhm Monday night when we got to the hotel, Liam was drinking..and we were having dinner, well sitting down for it. Anyway, not the point..he ended up kissing me..” she started to say.

I gave her an angry look..

“Did you kiss back?” I asked her.

She starting crying more, yes but for a second I was in shock what happen.” She replied.

I grew more angry..I was about to stay something but then she continued..

“That wasn’t it..I ran away from him and went up to our hotel room, he came in shorty after. We talked, and then he kissed me again, and I kissed back again. Then I realize what I was doing and thought about you so I stopped it.” She finished up.

I looked at her with the most angry look, and not saying a word.

“Logan, say something please.” She said to me.

“Out of the 8 years we have dated, I have never in my life cheated on you. You know how I feel about cheating. You know my dad an affair for years and you remember how it hurt my mom so bad. But you go on a trip with your little trip, with you best friend..that might I add kept saying he liked you..and cheat on me..” I said to her.

“Logan, I didn’t do anymore then kissing Him. Plus you said we should take him figuring things out.” She said to me.

“Yes to figure things out on us, not other people. Kissing is cheating, Ashlee!!!” I said to her,

“Logan..” before she could finish what she was gonna say,

“Please get out of my office, we done talking about this. In fact, we done period.” I said to her.

She got up crying, exiting my office.

I threw my pen that I had in my hand at the wall. I can’t believe this has happened. I was to angry to concentrate, I got up to go get some coffee. When I walked into the into the little kitchen, that’s when I saw him, Liam. I walked passed his just not even looking at him. He smirked at me, before trying to walk away I grabbed his shoulder, and stared him down.

“If we were at your daddy’s worked place I would punch you right now..” I said to him.

“What the h*** is your problem?” He said to me.

“What do you think my problem is, you can go around kissing other guys girlfriends but not man up to it.” I said to him, trying to hold myself together.

“Hey, I warned you. You just never listened. Oh by the way, it was more then kissing. I spooned her afterwards all night long..” he said to me smirking at me.

That’s when I lost my control and punched him right in the face. I should of regretting it because we are at work but I really didn’t..he deserved it. I walked out of the kitchen, and walked right to Mr. Asher’s office. His assistant let me in his office. I was holding my hand because I got him good and so my hand was killing me.

“What’s wrong? What is with your hand?” He said to me.

“I quit, sir.” I said to him, about to walk out.

As he stopped me, Liam walked into his office, you could tell he got punched in the face.

“What the h*** is going on here?” He said to both of us.

“I punched your son in the face..maybe if he didn’t take my girlfriend, he would been fine.” I said to him. I walked out and headed to my office to grab my keys. Ashlee stopped me,

“What happened to you?” She asked.

“Why don’t you go ask your boyfriend..” I said to her walking away from her.

I grab my keys and headed out. Everyone was looking at me, but you know I didn’t give two sh**s at this moment. I walked to my car, got in it, started it up and headed off. I drove around for a little bit, trying clear my head. My phone kept ringing, it was working calling so it was either Mr. Asher or Ashlee. I decided to head the bar, and turned my phone off.

Once I got into the bar, I went in and asked for a beer. A girl walked up to me in a slutty outfit.

“Hey there good looking, can I buy you a drink or some shots.” She said to me.

I looked up at her, she kinda look familiar, but everyone I knew around here, I just left at the office.

“Hell yeah. Surprise me.” I said to her.

“Awesome, my name is Mariah, what’s yours sexy?”

“Name is Logan.” I said to her.

She order a bunch a shot for me and her.

We started talking then one by one. She was pretty fun to be around. I still couldn’t figure out why she looked so familiar.

The more I drank the more I forgot about what happen today. Soon I was dancing with her on the dance floor. We were having the time of our life’s, we went back to the bar to get more shots that when I saw her..Ashlee. She looked right at me, so I decided to piss her off.

I grabbed Mariah, and started making out with her right the at the bar. Ashlee came over to us.

“What the h*** are you doing? She said coming up to us.

“Oh your allowed to do kissing around but I can’t? Oh wait I’m single I can do whatever the f*** I want.” I said to her.

“Not you, her!!!” She said pointing to Mariah.

“Ashlee?” She said.

“Wait, you guys know each other.” I asked

“My roommate that you talked so much crap about, yes that’s her.” She said to me.

That made so much sense why she looked so familiar.

“Well, maybe if you didn’t tell all those lies about me, he probably won’t of been.” She started.

“Hey, now that I have met her, I realize something..she’s lot more fun then you ever were.” I said to Ashlee.

“Hey baby, wanna go back to my place? I said as I made out with her right in front of Ashlee.

“Hell yeah, baby. I will show you how much fun we can really have.” She said back to me. I grabbed her hand, walking away from her. Walking to towards my apartment which wasn’t far.
