Two worlds apart

In a beautiful country town called Sunnyside, a young couple had just purchased a new property on an old farm . ‎ Though the house needed a little fixer upper, it still felt like home to the couple. ‎ Mr Xavier had just gotten married to a young beautiful woman named Celine . ‎ They were newlyweds and wanted to start a life of their own in a new town far from the city, and fortunately they were able to get this...um this house , well just for a start though. ‎ ‎ "Well it might not be as beautiful as we imagined , but there's nothing a little fixing won't solve , ain't I right dear?", Xavier said taking a quick glance around their new home "... Umm yeah, well .. You are ....", Celine was abruptly cut short by a piece of the ceiling falling off. ‎ "Well... This is gonna be a long day" Xavier sighed and looked at his wife who was already visibly not ready to start some construction work . She gave a long sigh and looked at her husband with a faint smile. "Alright, here goes nothing". ‎ They started picking up some pieces of wood from a pile of rubble, then they made few stacks of wood out of the pieces of wood at the corner of the room. ‎ Soon, the room was cleared of all the fallen wood pieces giving the room more space for one to move about. ‎ "Let me see what I can do about the windows". Xavier said to his wife, "oh yeah , I'll hand you some tools dear" Celine smiled gracefully at Xavier. ‎ ‎ ‎ After few hours of work , the house looked presentable... Kind of ... But atleast it felt like home........... to some extent. ‎ It was 8:00 pm and Celine was making dinner . Their dinner consisted of some meat and a glass of orange juice. ‎ They were eating, smiling and chattering away happily. The couple might not have the best house, but still ,they felt at home at last. ‎ ‎The next morning they were woken up by the sound of a really, really loud crow of a big male chicken ."Jeez must you be that loud?" Xavier complained as he used his hands to cover up his ears before they became deaf. Celine giggled and gave him a kind smile, "Alright, wake up you sleepy head , we've got alot to do remember?" she pulled him out of the bed . ‎ "ok ok ok... Lets do this" Xavier sat up straight. ‎ Immediately after their little breakfast which consisted of pancakes and strawberries, the couple started to put some things in order, they work tirelessly and then the house was fixed....to some extent. ‎ The ceilings and walls were no longer cracked, the electricity was stable and the pipeworks were neatly done by Xavier who had taken extra time to correct any disorder and prevented the pipes from leaking out. ‎ The painting was done by Celine who had taken her time in sorting out the colours and patterns in painting the house. And when she was done, the house felt like those of high caliber, the house screamed perfection, not a single trace of mistake in sight. ‎"ahhhhhhh...." Xavier heaved a long sigh "you did well my dear ", Celine went close to him and gave him a gentle pat on his back and smiled . ‎ "All that is left now are the furnitures , I called Ron and he said that they would be here first thing tomorrow morning, so till then , take as much rest my dear, tomorrow is another day" Xavier said with his hands on his waist. "Sure why not " Celine shrugged. ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎The next morning.................. ‎ The sounds of vehicles and men moving furnitures could be heard clearly, Celine was making sure that the chairs, tables , shelves and the carpets were placed in the most perfect way , while Xavier made sure that the furnitures were all complete and intact. It was a really long day for the couple , but in no time they were done, and their house felt more like a home . ‎ "Home sweet home " Xavier sighed and smiled as he took a long glance at the house . The house looked more like a....... mini palace, a huge chandelier hung from the ceiling illuminating the large living room, cream coloured sofas sat gracefully around the room , a huge television was placed on the wall , a crimson rug was placed under the glass centre table , and on the glass centre table, a beautiful ceramic vase containing roses added more beauty to the whole room. This was not only home to them , it was paradise. "I think we're gonna like it here, it's just perfect."Celine smiled as she held her husband's hands ," of course my dear , this is just ...... just perfect", he smiled back . ‎ ‎ Finally the old rusty , rickety , Godforsaken shack had become a beautiful mansion .... or rather a palace, but most of all, it had become home . ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ "The front yard is so beautiful, I could use it to start up my flower business, what do you think about that dear?" Celine said as she took a long glance at their wide beautiful verandah , "well it would be lovely, you would be bringing beauty to the yard and also making money out of it too" Xavier chipped in to buttress Celine's point. "Brilliant! I'll start off as soon as we can get this house properly fixed and I'll call it ' Celine's bouquet '.. it sounds cool doesn't it?" She said tilting her head in confusion, " umm well I think it's perfect" , Xavier responded with a sweet smile. "Ok, Celine's bouquet it is then , thanks a lot " Celine squealed as she walked over to the kitchen to pour herself a glass of wine. "This calls for a celebration," she suggested as she poured another glass of wine for Xavier, "to a new life!", they chorused with the sound of Celine's giggling and the wine glasses softly hitting each other filled the atmosphere.
