Chapter 19
Escorted by the two large aliens, Nick had no idea where the enforcers were taking him or what was going to happen. The path they took through the corridors led to a small round room. As soon as the enforcers had herded him inside, a door slid around to cover the opening. Then they were moving down. An elevator, lacking any indicators or controls Nick could see. He had no way of knowing how far down they had traveled when the elevator finally came to a stop. Many floors at least.
The door slid aside revealing another wide corridor much like the one that they had left. Empty except for a metal door at the far end guarded by two more of the large enforcers, indistinguishable from those with him.
