Chapter 24: Instigation
“They will hunt you until the end of days" —Penny Dreadful.
“You dare to claim that you have a way to fight against the werewolves?” he asks through gritted teeth, though apparently his words are loud enough for everyone to hear.
Whispers erupt from all around us. Not everyone is really aware of my plans just yet —only a few of the elite members of the vampire community.
In my defence, I had to give Wesker a really good reason to want to come. Apparently, showing one of my cards is the way to go. It was a last minute decision, so I didn’t really have time to fill in anybody.
“I do,” I give him a reassuring smile.
“How?” He stares at me intensely —which I can tell even despite the barrier on his eyes. He intends to drill the answer right out of me, I can tell.
