The slaves king mate

Emily: As my eyes flutter open I can see the rays on sunlight peer through the small window above me. I guess it’s time to get up. I quietly walk to the other side of my room. If you can call it that. It’s more like a cell. 2 of the walls are damp brick that are covered in moss, the other 2 are made out of bars. On side has the smallest bared door that’s always under lock and key. One of the higher ranked members will come unlock it shortly so I can start making the pack breakfast. I quickly throw on my day clothes, this skimpy looking maids dress and throw my red hair in a bun before waiting at the door for someone to open it. I look down at my clothes and sign. “Morning”. Micheals loud voice bellows through the once empty corridor. “Morning” I manage to get out. I don’t like when Micheals the one to come let me out. He always makes me late as he insists on doing stuff to me before I head to work. If I say no he beats me so then I’m even later. As he gets closer I can see his sporting a massive grin on his face. His brown hair is combed back for once and his dressed in his patrol gear. He slowly unlocks the door and opens it his blue eyes not leaving my gaze. He stands aside for me to step out. “ No play for you this morning , the Alpha has a lot for you to do today. So off you go” he continues to grin. As I start walking away he puts his hands up the back of my dress giving my bottom a little bit of a squeeze. I hate him. Micheal is the Williams beta as his the biggest d**k. Almost worst then William himself. Almost. I head straight to the kitchen preparing breakfast. If breakfast isn’t made up to Alpha Williams standard I normally end up wearing it. As the light starts raising higher more and more pack members start walking through the kitchen. Stopping to make coffee and breakfast for themselves. None say a word to me fearing that they’ll be punished by the Alpha if they do. Ever since I can remember the Alpha has treated me different to everyone else. Don’t get my wrong he is cruel to everyone and I’ve often heard some of the other female pack members voice there displeasure for him. But for some reasons he hates me the most. I don’t even remember a time before I wasn’t his slave. He took me in when I was 2 since my parents were killed in a vampire attack. He said they were apart of his pack so that meant now that they were gone I belonged to him. I was to young to remember much about them but I use to have dreams about this beautiful women with bright red hair and glowing green eyes telling me she’s loves me. I’m not sure if that is a memory or dream but doesn’t matter anymore since I hadn’t had it in a while. I set up the table just how the Alpha likes it, before heading into the laundry to start the washing. “Emily!!”. Oh no. I quickly throw everything into the machine, turning it on and run back into the kitchen. I bow as I enter the Alphas gaze. “Yes Alpha?”. My voice is shaking. If Alpha William wasn’t so nasty he would kind of be cute. He has short black hair and he is build quite well. Although he is medium height he makes up for it with his strong personality. “Come here” his hand comes up as he motions me forward. I slowly step closer trying to still stay out of beating range. His grey eyes move off me back down to his food as he starts shoveling it in his mouth. “We’re gonna have a special guest arriving tomorrow. The king is coming to check out our pack since the vampire attacks in the near by town seems to be increasing” the food spits out of his mouth as he talks.“ So today I need you to ready the guest rooms. He will be arriving around lunch time so you will be prepare breakfast as normal. For lunch I want a full course meal. I want him to have options since I dont know what he likes. Then for dinner roast pork sounds good. Show off your cooking skills. I want him to be impressed”. I nod. “ In between meals you must stay in your cell. I don’t want you embarrassing me.” I just nod again in silence. “ However if you are seen I will be allowing you to have a shower tomorrow morning and you will borrow spare clothes off another female member of the pack so you atleast look presentable. You can use the down stairs bathroom no other do I make myself clear?” “Yes Alpha” he waves his hand and I head up stairs to start preparing the bedrooms. As I head up stairs I can’t help think what the king might be like. If Williams the Alpha and his the way he is the king must be very nasty to be able to keep everyone in line the way he does. Williams obviously scared if his putting this much effort in to make the pack look good. He doesn’t put this much effort into any other packs visits and we’ve had other Alphas come before. Although I’ve never meet them. He always orders me to stay away. Not that they care. Normally I wouldnt want other people seeing me in the state I am anyway but tomorrow is my 18th birthday so I have the chance to find my mate. I smile at the thought. I really hope he isn’t from this pack. Maybe the king will bring some omegas with him and one might be my mate. Then I can go with him and get out of this horrible place.
