September 14th, 2014 ________________________________________________________________________ Chapter 5 - Harvey Duke- "So, who DID you sleep with?" Rex asked for the billionth time as we walked to his car. "I didn't sleep with anyone, I was pulled into a room by some dude, he forced a make out session then I kicked him in the d**k" I lied, and he rolled his eyes. "Did you f**k 'im?" he asked crudely. "What!" I almost collapsed. "I mean you're into that right? dudes?" he opened the door for me and I rose my eyes brow at his niceness. I didn't answer his question and the car ride was silent beside the Sleeping with Sirens soundtrack. Cole was standing in the kitchen in a pair of black basketball shorts and nothing else. "How many times to I have to tell you to but a shirt on!" Rex snapped. "Shut it Terry" Cole sneered seeming a bit higher strung than usual. I wonder if it's because of me... "Call me Terry again, I f*****g dare you” Rex snapped then rolled his eyes when Cold let a smirk tighten his lips. He grabbed my hands and dragged me upstairs. He slammed his door then slid down it. I hesitated but scooted over to him and brushed a strand of hair out of his face, "you ok?" I c****d my head to the side a bit. "I hate 'im" he grumbled, "I wish he wasn't around" "Cole?" "He always makes me feel like I should kill myself, he makes me feel useless, I’m starting to think he's right" he sounded so defeated, this wasn't Rex, this was Terrence. this was no bad boy in front of me, this was a scared little boy. I could feel the small sad smile on my face and I cupped his cheeks on some strange instinct, "You aren't useless Rex" I said softly, "you're my only friend, where would I be without you?" He grabbed my wrist as I went to remove it from his personal space. I looked at him wide eyed and his blue eyes looked up to meet mine. They were full of pain and agony. I didn't notice as I was lost in his sad eyes, but he had reached his other arm around my waist and pulled my forward, in to his lap. His bow-legged hips were pressed to mine and it caused a small blush to crawl up my spine and onto my cheeks where they mocked me. "Thank you" he pressed his forehead against my collar bone. I smiled and gently reclaimed my wrist then wrapped one arm under his arm pit and the other around his neck hugging him, "I should be the one thanking you, i***t" I pulled away smiling at him. He placed one hand on my jaw and the coldness shook me to the core and he looked up at me. His arm was still around my waist and his fingertips landed softly on my hip. one of my hands was tangled in his mop of hair and my elbow rested just and inch away from the nape of his neck. My other hand softy gripped his bicep. "Bunny" he whispered, "I don't like it, it's demeaning" he said. I nodded a bit. I had always hated the nick name. "Harvey" he cooed leaning up and pressing his lips to mine. Unlike with Cole I didn't feel an ounce of fear. "Harvey Darling" he mumbled, and his lips moved against mine. He pulled away and hung his head, "don't leave me here alone" he whimpered. I bent down and caught his quivering lips with mine. He instantly seeked more warmth and pulled me closer until there wasn't an inch of space between us. I made a fist in his feathery black hair and let my fingers dig into his skin. His fingers held my hip tightly and his cold hand was now comfortable.  His tongue slid into my mouth and I immediately gave over control. He pushed himself up and pressed my back to the floor. He pulled away and I looked up at him breathless. "I never once thought of you as a friend" he said his voice deep. I blushed, and he kissed me again. It was only moments later I was curled up in his lap as he stared down at his homework and I repeated rules and formulas teaching him while being so close. he's going to make me an addict. I'm going to be addicted to his touch, his lips, his large hands and his blue eyes filled with pain. Who the hell was I kidding coming into this thinking I could skate by without falling in love with him? "Harvey" he called me back to him. "Hm?" I nuzzled into his chest. "It's late" he sighed. "How late?" I questioned. "One" he mumbled, "you can stay here tonight if you want to" he said a bit nervously rubbing the back of his neck. "Lemme’ tell my auntie, she'll be pissed but she'll understand" I said reaching for my phone but finding it was just out of my reach. Rex leaned forwards and gripped my phone with no problem and handed it to me a smirk glued to his face.  I called my aunt who surprisingly answered, I told her we were still studying, and I was going to sleep over and I’d be home in the morning. she grumbled an ok and we said our good nights. I set my phone on the table and Rex's wrapped his big arms around my chest. He rubbed his face into the back of my neck.  "I'm sleepy" he said sounding like a child. It's a wonder how he could change so much from the person we knew at school to the man holding me close as if he let me go I would walk out the door and tell him to go to hell. I would never, could never do that. I wish I could go back and tell myself that this man would completely wreck my world.
