Leah stormed out of the lounge, her heart hammering in her head. She didn’t know what to feel anymore. She couldn’t understand what she was feeling anymore. Was it anger at Roland? or herself? Or the soldiers that belittled her every chance they got? Or was it confusion? At why Roland created that scene? At why her mother didn’t seem to be anywhere around? Or was it something else entirely? All her pent-up emotions rose to the surface. All she knew was that she had to let it all out.
