CRAY
I walked out of Velicia's new room, beaming with smiles. I and Cole already knew the fact that we both were mated to her, and it was really creating a rift between us.
Not like we weren't already enemies from the start.
Why on Earth would we even be mated to the same person?!
When my eyes found Velicia at the bottom of the stairs in the dining hall, I felt instantly drawn to her.
She was gorgeous with curves all in the right places, it was so hard to control myself. I could already imagine her screaming my name in pleasure while I did things to her. My wolf, Leon, was also so happy to see her.
I might be a playboy who don't give a f**k about other things, and was always playing middle man between Cole and Carl's fights, one thing I wouldn't play with was my mate.
I didn't like the fact that Cole was also mated to her, and Carl also seemed like he had interest in her.
I have waited for so long for my other half to share her with anyone.
And here I was, sitting across the table with my father who was suggesting that I reject her.
She was beautifully endowed for one to even think of rejecting her. I didn't care whether she is weak or not, or if she was a weak omega, Velicia is mine.
"Still doesn't answer the question, Dad. Why do you think that if I should be mated to an omega, I should reject her?" My voice was slightly raised as I gripped my glass of wine.
Kemper slowly brought the wine glass to his lips and took a sip before placing it on the table. "You won't understand, son, and I don't want you guys coming to me with questions related to her. She is just a weak omega and a slave. I've accepted the fact that you guys can keep her as a personal slave, but what I'm not accepting is the idea that you will be dating her."
He took his suit as he stumbled out of his office, his demeanor cold. He sounded so serious, but he wouldn't tell me the reason why.
Well, that was his business because he doesn't have the right to control my life.
I would fight for her and prove to her that I'm much more capable than my silly brothers who are trying to take her away from me.
"Sir," a maid said as she entered my bedroom, bowing her head with a fake smile on her face that I didn't buy.
"Your brothers are on the balcony calling for you," she informed me, fluttering her lashes seductively. Oh, one of the bitches begging to be f****d.
I don't know why, but I didn't like this lady. There is something about this maid and her two friends that makes me hate them. If they weren't so good at their work, I would have sent them to the rogues.
We Lycans also have rogues, and this pack rules them all.
"Close the door behind you," I growled in a harsh tone. Her eyes widened in shock for a second, then she left.
By now, Velicia must be working in the kitchen or somewhere around the pack. I couldn't wait to kiss her plump, pink lips and watch her blush. Yeah, I haven't seen anyone resist my charm anyway.
I truly bless the Moon Goddess for giving me someone like Velicia as my mate.
I walked to the balcony and met the two of them there. I moved my gaze to Cole, who was giving me a sidelong glance from his gray eyes.
Carl straightened as I approached, his expression flat. He cleared his throat.
"I think there's something you both need to know," Carl began, moving his eyes from Cole to me.
Carl, having something to say? Miracles surely happened.
"I found my mate,” he said, touching the thin silver necklace around his neck.
Immediately, I felt relieved. At least he has found his mate, so I didn't have to bother that all three of us will fight for Velicia. It was just me and this hot-headed Cole.
Besides, this was a really good development. At least our boring king won't be lonely again after what his ex-girlfriend did to him.
Aside from the fact that he was annoyingly calm normally, he really had a bad experience with a lady he loved before... because of Cole. He dumped her and since then, he hasn't dated anyone else.
"Seriously, Carl?" Cole said, his eyebrows raised, his full lips curved into a smirk. "So what's her name? Or don't we get to know her name to avoid history repeating…?" Cole rolled his eyes as Carl clenched his fists.
"Chill, Cole!" I reprimanded him, my eyes widened. I wasn't going to let him open wounds.
Cole blurted out. "I’m just saying I don't want that mistake to happen again so our Mr. Perfect brother doesn't get hurt by Big Bad Cole again!" Cole mocked, referencing how he was painted as the bad guy when it happened.
"And I will rearrange that smug face of yours if that happens," Carl growled as I placed my hands on his shoulder, which was rising and falling against his coat. I could tell that he was mad already and was ready to explode.
This was definitely one topic that brought out Carl's anger.
"It is Velicia. The new slave is my mate,” Carl revealed.
Cole and I fell silent for a moment, exchanging startled glances. Was I hearing this right? Or it was another Velicia he mentioned right now?!
"Uhm, I think we would want to know if there is another Velicia in this mansion," I asked.
“Yeah right cause my Velicia does not belong to no damn sociopath!” Cole snarled.
Carl shot him a glare with his brows furrowed. “The slave at the dining table. I felt the connection last night and…”
“What the f**k!” I blurted in shock, gripping my messy blonde hair.
“I just wanted to let you all know because I noticed you've been eyeing her, Cray. She isn't your regular b***h. She is my mate. Same goes for you, Mr. Main Character Syndrome…”
Cole scoffed. "I think you should shut the f**k up, Carl and hear what we have to say," his grey eyes flashed dangerously.
He ignored him and reached for his phone in his pocket about to walk away.
“Cole and I are mates with Velicia.”
He paused immediately he heard what I said. His raven locks falling across his brow stopped as he raised his head slowly.
I could see the shock in his blue eyes as he gazed up at me.
"What?!” He exclaimed incredulously.
