I nodded my head as she gave me a last once-over glare, then left the room. I couldn't fathom why this lady just hated me. Was it my fault I had three hot men fighting over me? Not that I'm even happy about it. But why did they want to see me though? A frown crossed my brow. When I was done with cleaning and arranging the room, I stepped out of the room, dusting my hands over my clothes. I walked downstairs and disposed off the dirt then placed the cleaning tools where they should be. Then I walked back into the mansion. I noticed that Alpha Kemper was not around, even if he was around I wouldn't have heard his voice - he was just as mysterious as Carl. “But where are the Triplets? Didn't they say they wanted to see me?” I mused. I knew I couldn't just barge into people's rooms, and going to ask Tracy or one of the slaves wouldn't work either. They all seemed to look at me in some way. "Instead of contemplating, why not use your scent to locate them?" My wolf suggested. The idea lit up in my head. That would make more sense instead of just standing here in confusion. I sighed as I let my wolf take over and began to sniff. I noticed my wolf was a bright purple color, like the color of amethyst. It's no wonder my hair color is purple. “Amethyst….” I pondered. That would be the best name for my wolf. I could see my wolf purr in happiness in my mind. I chuckled, closed my eyes and took a breath in, then focused on locating their scents. It was hard, but soon, their scents began to draw me closer. I walked as I followed the scent, until it led me into a room. I opened my eyes, I turned the doorknob, then entered inside. My heart skipped as I saw Cray and Cole, but I didn't see Carl. Their piercing eyes bore into mine as I bowed my head. "This is your new room," Cole spoke, his hands in his pockets, as I raised my head sharply and lifted one of my eyebrows. "Don't you like it? Or do you want a bigger room?" Cray asked, folding his hands on his chest as he stood in front of me. What sort of question was that even? This room was pure luxury compared to the shitty slave room I was subjected to. "Of course, I love it! Thank you so much, masters. I'm very grateful," I curved my lips into a smile as Cray scoffed. He raised one of his perfectly arched brow, placing one hand over my neck. "No need to thank us, we did what we could for our mate,” he said, brushing his hands over one of my ears. Cole shot him a deadly look. Cray leaned further and spoke into my ear, making me shiver. “and if you need anything, you can call me. I will see what I can do for you, understood?" I took a deep breath to distract myself from what his words were doing to me. Plus, Cole staring deathly at us didn't help matters. "You can also call on me too, just so you won't end up being disappointed," Cole's voice was cold and straightforward, and I already understood what he meant by that. I looked at Cray, who shook his head, looking amazed by the statement he made as he clenched his fists. The tension in the room was too much for me to take. I didn't like the way things were going, and the way they were ready to throw insults at each other. "In case you don't know, you are now my slave, little princess," Cole growled as Cray smirked, then turned to him. "In your f*****g dreams, Cole! Kemper said she is our slave, you don't own her!" Then he turned his head to me, with a smile on his face. "Just make yourself comfortable, okay? We will be leaving now." Cray waited for Cole to make the first move out of the room. Cole stared fiercely at Cray as I noticed the veins in his neck popping out. They stared down at each other, suth Cole giving him a warning through the gaze. Then just as things seemed to escalate, he stormed out of the room. Cray merely smirked, then began to leave too before he turned back and winked at me, which made me blush. Then he left. I released the long breath I was holding within. “That was intense,” I commented, placing my hands on my chest. I was now between three brothers fighting to own me. “Moon goddess, just save me from anything bad that's going to happen, because this whole thing doesn't look good,” I prayed in my mind. “Oops, it seems the little princess is getting scared!” Amethyst laughed. “Amethyst, shut the f**k up,” I snapped. “Sure, girl.” I totally ignored her so as to not end up getting riled up. She was definitely not the kind of wolf I was looking forward to have. I gazed at my massive room, with a wide smile on my face. Then, I touched the soft-looking bed, and it was indeed soft when I felt it. The reason I used the term "massive" was because of how small the space where I had slept last was. I still felt pain in my back from the hard-looking bed, which didn't even have a bed stand. It was placed on the floor, and one would think the bed was made of wood if they didn't look at it closely. The clean white bedsheet also made it feel like I was a guest who came to visit them and is receiving this type of treatment. It seems like I was the first slave to be sleeping on a very comfortable bed, because in my pack, the slaves alone didn't even have this kind of bed and a clean, tiled room. Though they are not as uncomfortable as this one here because ours was a bunk bed. I felt so thankful to the moon goddess right now that I didn't spend another night in that slave quarters, because I'm not sure if I would have survived it. Darkness enveloped the room, and it was a cemented floor. Such is life, though. I rested my head on the bed, as I still can't help remembering how my pack was destroyed. No one saw that coming. I never dreamt that one day I would be a slave. From bad to worse is the situation I'm facing now. My only resolution was to escape. But then, I must find out the truth about my father's disappearance. I would like to know if he is dead or alive, and what was the connection between him and Kemper. I know my father wasn't that stupid to allow his pack to die like that. It would be a big disappointment if that was the case. But what was in that contract? Stupid me, I didn't even read the contract. I just kept asking myself stupid questions instead of going through it. "Are you packing?" A voice jolted me up from my thoughts as I turned back and saw a lady who was dressed the same way I was. She was also a slave here. "Don't tell me, you didn't pass the Triplets' test?" I got confused as I lowered my eyebrows, then I remembered when Tracy told me that the triplets have to like me first, or else I would've been thrown out. "No, please, I'm just moving to a new room," I said calmly to her as she scoffed and rolled her eyes. "Can I ask you, young lady, when you came into this mansion?" I mean, what is she going to use that answer for? And who is she to ask me that kind of question? She also looked scary and sketchy with her posture and gaze. "Yesterday..." "And now you are everyone's favorite? Who knows, maybe they're just going to use you as a toy and then dump you later, like they did to almost all the girls they took," she blurted out. I frowned as I stared at her. "Can you just mind your own business? Do you think that information would scare me? I don't care what the triplets do or not, I'm just their slave, okay? And I think I'm just lucky to be given a better room. Please, let's not have issues here, and let's respect ourselves." "Excuse me? You need to be reminded that you are a junior worker here. That's your rank, and you should know that. So far, you are a slave in this mansion." She rolled her eyes and walked out of my way with the two girls that came with her. I bent my head as I shook it, not wanting to be in tears and look pathetic, because I'm not one. I don't blame them. If I was still a princess, no one would have the right to talk to me like that! Should I still plan on escaping? Or should I just stay here because of my mates?
