Terror in The Night

 While in the hotel, Ezekiel was bathing Lilly so she could go to sleep. Elijah was looking around at the two king-size beds; there also that there was a nightstand in-between them with a lamp and alarm clock. He noticed that the carpet was soft and wrapped around his foot, were he steeped. There also was a dresser made of solid oak; it had a 42' television on it. There was also a small table with two chairs that Dominic and Isaiah were sitting at talking with each other. Elijah walked over to the door and made sure it locked before going and laying back in the bed. 

"Come get me, Ezie," yells Lilly as she runs out the bathroom naked and wet.

"Don't run; Lilly come back," Ezekiel calls after her as he is soaked with water and bubbles all over him. His brother and the guardians looked at him and laughed at the mess he was. Isaiah grabbed a towel and grabbed her. Lilly squealed in delight that he had caught her and was now drying her off.

"Now, Miss Lilly, you know better than to be making a mess and running while all wet," Isaiah scolded her.

"But Isha (Isaiah) he splashed me first, and I got him back," Lilly explained to him. Isaiah looked at Ezekiel.

"Is that true, Ezekiel? Did you splash her first?" Isaiah asked with a serious look on his face.

"Uh… mmm, I do not know what she is talking about," Ezekiel said. Isaiah looked back and forth between the two and started laughing. "You two are too much. Dominic, do that thing you do. Can you create some sleep clothes for Lilly?"

"Yes, of course, I can," said Dominic as he gathers the image of a little girl nightgown of her favorite color of pale blue with soft ruffles on the bottom and small capped sleeves. As he is visualizing the picture, a surge of magic is felt in the room. The swirling of colors as the night clothes are created for her. When he is done, he hands it to her. Lilly is excited for it looks just like her old one that was at home.

"Domie, how did you know I wanted my nightgown? It even smells like mama," she said, looking at him. He did not realize that he had even gotten the smell of home, so he smelled it, and sure enough, it smelled just like their mother. Their mother had always washed their clothes for them. It was one of the few household tasks that the queen would do for her children. After Lilly got her nightgown on, she looked at her brothers and asked, "Where is mama and daddy?"

None of them know how to answer her without breaking her heart. So Dominic sat down and had Lilly climb into his lap. With his well-sculpted arms, he hugged her and looked her in the eyes and told her, "Mama and Papa, they gave up their lives for us to come here. They protected us from the bad men in the council. Do you understand?"

"I no see mama or daddy again?" Lilly asked with tears in her eyes.

"No, sweetie, none of us will," Elijah told her. She looked at them and started to cry. All four grown men gathered around her; they were hugging and comforting her. Ezekiel began to hum to her. This soothes Lilly to sleep. Once she was asleep, Ezekiel placed her in her bed. He looked at his brother and the guardians. They looked back at him and nodded their heads at him. They had all been in bed asleep for hours when suddenly they heard screaming from outside. Isaiah, Elijah, and Dominic were up in a flash looking out the window to see if they could find out what was going on as Ezekiel grabbed Lilly, not waking her from her slumber. 

"It is paket that is attacking the city," Isaiah exclaimed. 

"Are you sure, Isaiah?" Dominic said. 

"Yes, look, they are dirty and dingy. They look almost rabid; we need to help the people in town; they have been so helpful to us." Isaiah said, taking charge of the situation. "Ezekiel, take Lilly and mask your scents and stay in the bathroom and keep her safe. Dominic, you stay here and guard the door; you are the first line of defense if they get here. Elijah and I will go and help the townspeople." 

*In the towns square*

As Elijah and Isaiah came upon the town square, many peoples were running and screaming as fire, and wolfs were attacking men, women, and children. 

"Oh, my Goddess… what happened?" Elijah asked, shocked at sight before them. They go into a dark alley and shift into their wolf forms and head out to help the citizens.

"Isaiah, I will go and help the women and children; and try to get them to safety," Elijah said. 

"Okay, I will help the men to fight off the wolfs here. Goddess keep my brother," Isaiah said. 

"Goddess keep my brother," Elijah replied to his brother as he runs off into the fight.

As I am running, I see Officer Daniels; I wish he could understand that I am here to help him. I see out of the distance a dirty brown wolf with white foam at the mouth running towards my friend. Officer Daniels falls to the ground. I start to run to him; as the other wolf is about to attack, I intercept him. Our two bodies were colliding, and I hear a loud crack as the other wolf's body hits the ground. I stand in front of Officer Daniels. I growl at the other wolf as I am trying to get into his mind. It seems like there is a block, what kind of magic is that? It was not something I have seen before. I make sure to observe as much as I can of his mind to show my brother. The wolf and I are circling each each-other seeing who will take the first leap. Then out of nowhere, I see these other wolfs coming to attack. I jump and attack the brown wolf in front of me, grabbing his neck and snapping it instantly. I look at Officer Daniels. I can feel the fear radiating off of him, I lay on my stomach, crawling towards him, whimpering to show him, and I mean him no harm. He looks into my eyes, and he seems confused, but he is no longer in great fear of me. 

"You are not from around here. You are not part of the Blue Moon Pack," Officer Daniels tells me. I am shocked that he knows of wolfs, but I do not have time to worry about that I hear in the distance others coming. I can feel the vibration on the bottoms of my paws. I shake my head and stand up and run off to continue fighting the rouges that were in the city. After what seemed forever but was maybe five minutes, I have completely taken down the rouges with my brothers help. We were standing next to each other as what appeared to be the Alpha and his pack merging out of the woods. When all of a sudden, we heard Prince Dominic's howl in distress. The other pack looked to where the sound was coming. We made a mad dash to them—fear of letting down my Queen and King. The one promise we made was to keep the princess safe, and we had failed. What will happen now? All these thoughts are running through my head. Is she hurt, is she dead, is she, is she… 

When we arrive at the motel, we found that door had been ripped off the hinges to both the room and the bathroom, and there was blood so much blood. There were two wounded wolfs on the floor—one who was dead and the other still alive but barely. I shift quickly, and I walk up to him.

"Shift!" I commanded him, knowing that I am an Alpha and noble descendent; he has no choice but to comply. To my horror and surprise that it is a young wolf, I would say no more than 17 years old. Too young for something like this. He looks up at me. 

"Where is she? Where are the boys!" I demand from him. He looks scared. I know that he does not want to speak.

"I will give you a choice either tell me what happened to the two men and the little girl, and I will spear your life," I tell him. Even though I have no intention of ending his life, I know he did not hurt them. The blood was from the rouge.

"I… didn't see anyone," the boy stammered. Then I hear it the musical sound of her laughter. The boy looked over as I walked over to the closet, and I see her two brothers holding a protective shield around her. Elijah had shifted and looked at the boy who was terrified and said, "We must leave now, Isaiah, the pack draw near." I mind linking the Princes to let them know we are here. They let down the barrier, and Lilly runs into my arms, telling me how the big mean wolf tried to hurt them, but she beat him up. I look at Ezekiel and Dominic questionably. They just smiled at me. Ezekiel looked at the young boy and saw his wounds. 

"We must save the boy; he did no wrong, he tried to help us," Ezekiel said. As he walked up to the boy, he was scared. 

"I will not harm you, pup, I want to check your wounds. You were very brave to just run in this room to help for someone so young. Why did you do that?" Ezekiel asked him as he allowed the healing energy to leave him and to go into the young boy. 

"What are you doing? I don't know why I came here. I just felt like I was being pulled ahhhhh that hurts," the young boy exclaims. 

"Well, yes, it will hurt; that is what happens when you get healed by a wolf. What kind of pull? What is your name, pup?" Ezekiel asked the boy.

"I am not a pup, and I am 17 years old. I am old enough to mate and have pups of my own.  My name is Bryce," he tells Ezekiel.

"Well, as true as that is, you could have been killed by your recklessness. And who would you be saving?" Ezekiel asks.

"I wasn't looking to save anyone. I was following the pull, but it went away," Bryce says as he is looking at Lilly in Isaiah's arms. 

"Who is she?" Bryce asks.

"That is Lilly, my baby sister, and you are not her mate," I state so factly.

"I know it is just like I have seen her before, and I do not know where," Bryce says, looking confused.

"I do not know what to tell you. But you are all healed; you may be a little weak from blood loss, but other than that, you should be fine," I tell Bryce.

"The other pack is here; we must leave; they will think we are a threat to the city," Elijah says. We all shift and get ready to leave when the Alpha walks through the door.  with a serious look on his face.
