Her Royal Right

The Blue Moon Pack Pt. 2

The Guardians thought the Alpha’s offer was fair. They knew that with all the training they had to do for the royal court, anything they had to do for the Alpha would be easy. The Princes knew that they had been trained well. It was mandated that the Royal Family train with the Guardians and use their powers for the packs they ruled. 

“We accept your offer, Alpha Maxwell,” Isaiah said confidently. “When do we do this trail?”

“You should rest, and we will convene tomorrow at about 10 am to discuss when and where,” Alpha Maxwell said. The men looked at each other and agreed. “Once we get back to the packhouse Ryder my Beta will show you to the guest rooms so you can wash up and get some sleep. Breakfast is at 0600,” Alpha Maxwell said. Dominic told Lilly to shift back into her wolf form. After she had shifted, her brothers and guardians shifted and waited for the Alpha to lead the way. The warriors and the rest of the men shifted back into wolf form and started to head into the forest. They really didn’t have to go that far into the woods before they started to see houses here and there. It wasn’t until they reached the edge of the pack common ground that they started to see more homes, vast gardens, and farms. 

“Wow, this is so small, but yet so massive,” Dominic said to everyone through the mind link. “Yeah, but is it going to be safe enough for Lilly,” Isaiah asked? “It will have to be. Where is she, anyway?”  Ezekiel asked. They looked all around them, and they couldn’t see her. So Ezekiel sent out his senses to feel for her, and he felt her running with Bryce and the other warriors. “Yes, I found her. She is up with the warriors. I think they will be able to be trained to protect her and keep her safe.”  Ezekiel told the others. They agreed.

The men started to break off and head to their homes. As they approached the packhouse, they saw what appeared to be a four-story building made up of bricks and wood. It had many large windows with some stained glass with scenes from the Moon Goddess’s life and the wolf history. As they approached the house, a woman was standing at the door. She was 5’8 slim, but athletic build, red curly hair in a messy bun. She had blue eyes and a smile. 

“Welcome home, my love,” she said to one of the men. Who she was talking to was unclear until Alpha Maxwell walked up to her and kissed her. 

“Ah, My love,” Maxwell said. She looked at the four grown wolfs and one small pup with a confused look on her face. “Who are they, my love? Why have they not shifted, and where did you get that small pup from Maxwell? I told you NO pets!” she went on. The men shifted, and Ezekiel wouldn’t let Lilly shift just yet. “I am sorry, mum,” Guardian Isaiah said as he bowed his head to show her the respect of being the wife to the Alpha. She looked shocked.

“Isaiah, Elijah, Ezekiel, Dominic, this is my Luna Airaleena. Though the pack calls her Luna Lena,” Alpha Maxwell informed them. “Where is Lilly?” he asked. 

“We wanted to make sure she was safe before she was to shift. It is not every day she meets this many new people, and she was a little unsure,” Dominic told Maxwell. Dominic's mind linked Lilly to come out from behind the guardians. Lena and Maxwell saw the little pup come out from behind and sat on the floor, looking at Maxwell and Lena. “I do not understand Maxwell; that is just a pup,” Lena said. “Just watch Lena; that pup is more than just a pup,” Maxwell informed her with a mischievous smile. “Shift now. It is safe,” Dominic said. Lena’s jaw dropped as she saw this little pup shift into this little girl with big emerald green eyes, long auburn hair. “Maxwell, what did I see. She is a toddler. How can she shift? That is just not possible, ” Lena stated, confused. 

“I do not know love, but she will be hunted if she if others find out about her. Some people are after them. The moon goddess has sent them to us, so we have no other choice than see them through our trails and protect them, especially the child.” Alpha Maxwell explained.

 “As you wish, my love,” Lean said in reply, not so sure that he is doing the right thing.

“This is the packhouse; my Beta will show you around and to the rooms you can use for tonight. Breakfast is at 0600 sharp, and we will meet in my office at 1000. So advise you to get some rest,” Alpha Maxwell said as he embraced his wife. 

“Yes, sir,” Beta Ryder said, looking at the men and seeing the one called Dominic holding the small child as she slept. 

“Thank you, Alpha Maxwell. I know not many would take us in. So thank you,” Guardian Elijah said for the group. Maxwell just looked at them and smiled and nodded. “I know, that is why I choose to be different from others. Everyone has their own story, and I should give them a fair chance. I leave you with my Beta. Ryder shows them around and shows them their rooms, for now, Maxwell said and parted with his Luna.

“Come on; I will show you around. You will be staying on the second floor for now, which are our guest rooms. The first floor is the common area, and there are two kitchens and dining areas. We also have a living room, as well as a game room. There is also an indoor pool off the game room. Downstairs is the indoor gym that also has access to the outdoor gym. Any question?” Ryder asked as he is walking the men throughout the house. When no one said anything, he continued. “The third story is where my family and the Gamma family lives as well as our offices. The fourth floor is where the Alpha’s family lives, and his office is there too. If you pass the trails, I will show you that tomorrow.” 

“Thank you, Beta Ryder, May I ask one question?” Dominic said.

“Yes, anything,” Ryder said.

“Well, what is a Beta and Gamma? Our packs back in our homeland do not have these, and what is a Luna?” Dominic asked cautiously.

“You know what an Alpha is?” Ryder asked. The men nodded their heads.

“Yes, we are all Alpha type wolves,” Isaiah said. Ryder jaw dropped, and he looked shocked. 

“What? What do you mean you are all Alpha type wolves. I have never seen four Alphas work together peacefully as a pack,” Ryder said. “But I will explain how most packs are set up here. We have an Alpha and his Luna, which is his other half that the moon Goddess chooses for him. I, the Beta am second in command; his right-hand man, the Gamma, is third in command. We also have a Delta and commander of training and other pack members.” Ryder explained. “How may I ask was your pack set up,” Ryder asked. 

“I know you want to know this information, and when you know it, you will understand why we do not have this basic knowledge. But we will need to talk with your Alpha first about it. There are people out there that will kill Lilly just for being alive. We have sworn our lives to protect the child. So after we talk with your Alpha, we will tell you and the third. But that will be it.” Elijah explained to Ryder.

“That seems fair enough if you pass the trails,” Ryder said smugly as he showed them to the two rooms that they would be using for the night.

“Remember, you do not know how we have been trained or what we have been trained to withstand. So do not underestimate us or our abilities.” Ezekiel stated to Ryder.

“I look forward to fighting you then to see what you can do,” Ryder said, smiling.

“So do I. I hope you like a challenge.” Ezekiel said, smiling back. Ryder laughed and said, “see you tomorrow; get plenty of rest. You will need it.”

“Goddess grant you sleep and peace,” Ezekiel replied. Ryder looked at him and nodded. Then proceeded to his floor.

Dominic walked into the room that was given to them.  He saw no bed for Lilly, so he used his magic to make one for her. He then laid her down so she could sleep comfortably. He also made a stuffed bunny like the one she had back home. He knew she would be so happy when she woke to it. He also made some of her favorite toys that she had back home for her to play with. When he was done, he finally looked at the room, and it was a spacious room with two French windows with beautiful Aegean (blueish, greenish, silverly color) curtains.  He saw two queen sizes beds with the same Aegean color bed sets. He saw a door and opened it, and saw that it was a walk-in closet. As Dominic walked into the closet, he saw that it had built-in dressers. He walks out, impressed. He saw Ezekiel come out of another door.

“What is in there, Ez?” Dominic asked.

“The bathroom, not like ours back home, but it still really nice,” Ezekiel said. “ I am going to shower and hit the bed. I need some sleep.” 

“Yeah, I am thinking of just using my magic to clean myself. A shower is too much right now.” Dominic said as he used his magic to clean himself up. He then climbed into bed and fell asleep. Ezekiel looked once again at his little sister, kissed her goodnight, and used his magic to clean himself up. He then looked at the time, and it was three am. He knew that they would miss breakfast but set the alarm for nine and fell into a blissful sleep for the first time since they left.
