The sisters game

Morning light spilled softly, filling the air with warmth and the scent if fresh flowers,birds chirped and the world stirred awake, welcoming a new day. Ava stirred awake,still half-dreaming,she reached out and gently stroked ploy's hair, feeling the warmth and calm of her presence beside her. Ploy woke up,shocked…ava smiled softly looking at her "you awake"? You looked like a puppy when sleeping she smiles…

Ploy forced a smile,but fear began to creep in inside her.

They both got up to freshen up after that ava made a mouth watering breakfast:eggs that are in a heart shape. She brought it over to ploy,ploy was surprised. They both sat together savoring their meal while chatting,from outside ploy was completely normal but in inside ploy felt a conflict in her thoughts about Davika and ava.

Ava had started to show sighs of affection toward her.

After finishing their meal,ploy suddenly announced she will be late…

Ava question why?

Ploy faked a urgent business matter and went to her room to change her outfit and went outside in her car releifed,she searched her bag for something….

Ahhh finally found it… she takes out the card given by davika and calls.. after a few rings someone answered her call

Okay bye ploy hangs up her lips formed a smile..

Few moments later she parked her car in front the vyra building,she took a deep breath and stepped forward,feeling the weight of what she was about to reveal…

She scanned the crowd in the area and found davika sitting not far away from her she rushed to her ..

Ploy began,her voice low but steady..actually lately ava always woke her up gently in the morning , preparing food that she prefers,she started to show small gesture of affection towards me and even the eggs she made was in the shape of heart,her subtle touches just everything she does pointed to the same truth..

Yeah I think she is falling for you,davika finally said,her voice mix with concern

"Ploy nodded".you have to be careful ploy, don't let yourself get hurt by her. After listening to these words ploy was stunned to speak anything. Suddenly Davika's phone buzzed -it was pimchanok…

Davikaa pimchanok slutters you have to come it is very urgent "we found a dead body here",her voice trembled over the line.

Okay we will come together

Both : Davika's and ploy's stomach dropped by that phone call,they quickly ran into the car and drove toward the destination.

As they drove across the road, Davika's demeanor shifter slightly -her eyes scanning every street,every shadows. After a tense silent, she finally spoke"ploy …there's something you should know she sighed"I'm an undercover agent"her voice was low as she speaks "everything I do ,I do to protect people like you". Ploy's mind med completely blank,she just silently stares at her,shock ,fear and curiousity tangled inside her.

When they arrived at the science,the sight was very brutal. Pimchanok spotted them quickly and lead them toward the science: the science lab was cordoned off,the air was heavy with the stench of the blood;the victims body lay there. Davika quickly noticed that victims body was scraped with sharp objects making an mark,and that mark was of tha Ava's gang sign…..she informed it quickly to her friends

She noticed ploy's pale, trembling form and gently placed a hand on her shoulder

Hey..breathe slowly it's okay…everything will be alright…I've got you..

Ploy tried to speak but could barely find her voice,the shock and fear made her feel frozen in her place.Davika,sensing her condition,gave her a reassuring squeeze and guided back to her car.

Ploy she spoke slowly I'll drive to your office,ploy just nodded signaling okay to her request. The drive to ploy's office was quiet, filled with unspoken tension. Ploy kept staring out the window,trying to process what she had just witnessed,the revelation about Davika,the terrifying connection to Ava's gang…

Davika drive steadily, occasionally glanciyat her,silently offering comfort without forcing words.

By the time they reached ploy's office,the world outside felt heavy and unreal. Ploy leaned back in her black leathered sofa,trying to gather herself. Davika's presence beside her was a silent promise( a promise that she wouldn't let anything happen to her).

Hey ploy you'll be okay now… I think I should go to crime scene now you should also go to your home… if anything happens feel free to contact me..

After saying these words davika was about to go but suddenly ploy grabbed her hand ..

No .. please don't go tonight I don't wanna go home ..I don't want to be alone with ava please I'm scared (her voice was shaky and cracking)

Seeing her condition she decided to stay with her and called pimchanok to handle the case without her and ploy also called ava informing that," the work is still due".

They both sat together,the silence grew heavier than before,none of them Even tried to break the silence for a long time but ploy started a conversation

Hey…are we going to stay silent until we fall asleep

I also don't know davika said looking at her

Okay then let's have drinks it will help ease the mood for us

Play orders wine and they both decided to sit on a balcony

Ploy poures wine equally into two glass and hand one over to davika

Here take it , it'll help you to relax

Yeah yeah I know but it's you who needs to be relaxed [davika softly chuckles]

They both look into each other's eyes: everything went silent for a moment,after an intense eye contact davika breaks it and drinks all the wine in one gulp and started to pour more

Ploy just stare at her,shocked by her sudden reaction but didn't said anything

After half an hour,realsing that Davika was completely drunk ,ploy started to question davika..

Hey would you mind telling me about your sister 'ava'

Umm sure ..she sighed heavily the smell of alcohol coming from her mouth was surprisingly pleasent for ploy

After thinking for a while she started to tell

Ava my older sister was very violent from the start, sometimes she would just kill birds and other small animal for fun..my parents didn't think about it seriously and as she grew older her behavior became more annoying and scary.. at first we didn't knew that she had already become a part of a mafia ..

For a few years everything was going smooth until one day my parents saw her doing drugs [her voice started to crack ]

Ploy quickly assured her that she'll be with her and help her with that

After reassuring by her she started to tell again..

That day my parents really beat her and warned her to stay away from this.. following days were somehow getting better for there of us but I didn't realized that ava was already forming a deadly plan

One that day,she faked an headache to stay at home and we were okay with it and I went to school alone without thinking anything but I had no idea that from today my life was about to change..

I never imagined that within the quiet of our home she was puttig her plan to execute our parents into action. At 5:30 ,I entered home,I noticed it was unusually silent ,'colder than ever before'.My heart sank, sensing something was wrong in this house I ran inside…

In there I just stood stiff..there I saw ava in blood stained clothes,eyes empty,calm she looked at me dead in my eyes and said

"TOO LATE SIS"

I immediately called the police

Police came after few minutes but those few minutes were like ages for me "ava was just being silent staring at the dead bodies of our parents"

She was taken to the jail..she was alreayfar away from me but ..but her words are still stuck in my mind ,I can still feel the hatred for my parents…

Davika suddenly stopped,her voice cracked..

All the memories just hit her again,she was trying hard to be strong

[Ploy hugged her hard ]

Everything's going to be okay," I'm here.. I'm here for you..you don't have to be strong with me, it's okay to cry ..let it out".[the soft voice came from ploy]

Hearing her voice,davika couldn't control herself anymore and burst out in tears in her arms..sobbing hard

Ploy held her tight embracing her..

And the night faded away as the tears rolled down from her cheeks…
