Chapter 5

George POV

Before the movie ended she fell asleep in my arms her head laying on my chest. I didn’t have the heart to wake her even as my phone vibrated in my pocket. I slowly reached for it.

Chris

Hey man you coming in today?

George

Not until next shift.

Chris

People are looking for you. Will wait for you at the hotel after

George

Sure man

I put my phone away. Damn asshole always looking for me on payday. I shake my head and set an alarm for an hour before shift change. At least by then my sweet Jazmín should be up. I lay down and close my eyes. Thankfully I have left my .45 under my truck seat. I think as I fall asleep holding her.

It was a couple hours before I hear someone moving around in another room. I reach down for my piece before realizing it wasn’t on me. s**t. How the hell am I supposed to keep her safe if I don’t have s**t on me. I shouldn’t have left it in the truck. I groan as I hear someone approach the closed door and hear the door handle turn. I push Alena to the side and feel myself getting ready for a fight as Alena start to stir next to me as the door opens.

“Lena dinner was awesome thanks.” I hear a somewhat familiar voice say and the light turn on. “oh s**t. I didn’t know you had someone over sorry.” He says as my eyes adjust I see her friend, brother, whatever that guy who picked her up was.

Alena stretched and reaches for me and pulls me back to the mattress. “no problem now can you go away I was sleeping.” Her tired voice was so adorable. “your cooking tomorrow night.” She says as she cuddles back up against me. I wrap her in my arms and kiss her forehead.

“sure. Sorry I didn’t expect you to be asleep already.” He says shutting the door.

Alena looks up and kisses me deeply. “Are you gonna sleep over?” she asks her eyes pleading with me to say yes.

“I don’t really want to sleep in my jeans but if your ok with me sleeping in my boxers and wife beater I’ll stay here with you until I have to go back in the morning.” I say sitting up and looking at her. God I hope she will let me stay. The other night was the best sleep I have ever had and she wasn’t even conscious. She nods and starts to get out of the bed.

“I need to change and get ready for bed anyways. I’d let you sleep anyway you wanted.” She says blushing deeply. As she moves to her dresser and starts pulling out some clothes. “ill be right back.” She grins and kisses me quickly before leaving the room.

I start to undress when the door opens again and her roommate enter. “staying the night?” he says looking at me suspiciouslu. “Look man Lena is a good girl don’t hurt her ok? She isn’t the type to f**k and leave, got it?” the stern look on his face makes me want to laugh. I could take this guy with one punch.

“Don’t worry about me. I’m not gonna have s*x with her.” I pause and look at him amused, “until she’s ready that is.” I grin at his look of shock. “Hey at least I won’t take her to any parties and let her get dosed with date r**e drugs.” I glare at him still upset about how I ended up meeting my little Jazmín.

He hangs his head and mutters “fair enough.” As he walks out of the room without another word to me.

I finish taking off my shirt as Lena enters the room in a long Tshirt. Damn thing looks like a dress on her. Still even without the makeup and dresses she normally was wearing she was the sexiest thing I ever had seen. I notice as I am taking her in she is looking me over. A blush in her cheeks as she sees me watching her. “Like what you see Jazmín?” I ask walking over to her and picking her up. She nods into my chest and wraps her arms around me. “Come on let’s lay down.” I carry her to the bed and lay her down before climbing in after her.

She sits up and looks at me for a while before speaking. “George when I told you the story about my green bandana you looked like you already knew it. Was that guy you?”

I stare at her. Not sure I wanted to answer any questions about the flag I gave a young girl or why I wanted her to have it. But the longer I took to answer the more embarrassed she began to look. I took a deep breath and nodded. “yeah I was visiting my buddy Hector in little Mexico and his family brought a cute girl with them. I still remember talking to you and honestly you looked familiar but it had been what 3 or so years. Anyways Hector convinced me to visit the summer before last saying Maria would be visiting for a couple days but she never showed as she had disappeared. Anyways after that I got my traveling card and started looking for her. Well at least I finally found you.” I kiss her softly. “I actually texted Hector to find out your name when you left the other day.”

That made her smile and lean against my shoulder. “you know green doesn’t being out my eyes right?” she started laughing.

“Looks better than red” I say with a bit more disgust than I ment to have in my voice. But I couldn’t help it. I couldn’t stand seeing her wear it. Call it part of my upbringing. She sits up and stares at me confused. “sorry you just really shouldn’t be wearing a red bandana ok? Green, yellow, black, and white only ok?” I didn’t want to have this conversation but looks like it was gonna happen anyways.

“Ok…” she sounded very confused. s**t she really is innocent. “But why?”

I sigh. “look my sweet Jazmín do you really want to get into this right before bed?” I was hoping to hold off explaining my less then legal side to her.

“I just want to know why. Please?” she looked like she was about to cry.

“Look I’m not a bad guy okay? But when you were wearing red back in the day you were representing something that isn’t good. If you wear green, yellow, black or white then you are safe with me. Does that make sense?” I try not to say too much and still keep her safe. She nods and lays her head back down on my shoulder.

“You saved me how could I ever think you were a bad guy?” she smiles up at me. God I could get used to having her by my side. “When do you have to leave?”

I laugh at the change of subject and how easily she accepted my explanation. “in the morning we have a few hours why?” I pull her into my lap facing me. My arms wrapped around her midsection.

“I just don’t want you to leave.” She hangs her head as she blushes. “I like how I feel when you here with me. I don’t ever want you to leave.”

I place my hand under her chin and make her look at me. “I have to work tomorrow so I need to get ready. I’m off this weekend though and all yours as long as you would like.” She smiles and her arms wrap tightly around my neck as she kisses me long and hard. Her kiss causes me to become stiff underneath her. I try and shift with her still on my lap and her her moan against my lips. “Babe your not helping me making sounds like that.” I whisper. This is just torture why did I put her on my lap? She giggles and I can feel her moving as she positions herself and wraps her legs around my torso before grinding against me. “Your just a little tease aren’t you?”

She grins at me and moves her hips in a circular motion. “are you complaining?” she asks in a sultry voice.

“No baby. Just trying to be good and your not making it easy.” I kiss her deeply. As soon as I press my tongue against her lips she grants me entrance and I deepen the kiss until I have to break it in order to breathe. “we need to get some sleep babygirl.” I move her arms from around my neck and pull her from me laying her down next to me. Knowing if I didn’t stop now I wouldn’t be able to. "Let's get some sleep and I'll make you breakfast in the morning ok?" I kiss her head as I wrap my arms around her and hold her against me as we fall asleep.
