"Dad..." Hailey's voice was rapidly losing hope. "What am I supposed to do now? Mommy, your plan just failed..."
She hesitantly plopped down on the couch, drying her tears with her hands, while Daphne looked at her with sympathy, and John shook his head in disappointment, running his fingers through his hair.
"Brianna isn't on board with your plan. You need to come up with something else, mom." Hailey sniffled as she gazed up at her stepmother. "I want Blake to marry me."
"Don't worry, sweetheart. I am working on another plan." Daphne replied, trying hard to keep her cool even though she was seething at her husband's niece. Brianna had just humiliated her in front of John and Hailey.
She wouldn't let Brianna take the win this time. She was set on making sure she got plastic
