ZAYN’S POV The hospital felt suffocating, as if the walls were closing in on me. I had never gotten used to being surrounded by them—much less liking it—even though I’d practically been visiting hospitals my entire life. I had wanted to get out of the hospital the moment the doctor had finished drawing our blood. Ximena sat beside me and the proximity between us made my skin crawl.
