Planning A Day Out

Amira’s P.O.V.

We are on a weekend trip with the gang, Caleb tricked me, but I see that he had his reasons. It’s too bad Riss and Jace aren’t here also, but they are surely having a blast in Italy.

I am always up early morning, but this Sunday morning I am tired AF. Okay, last night Caleb and I had it going on, and by the sounds that echoes through the house, we aren’t the only ones. I wake up Caleb and he groans at me. Whining that I should leave him alone, I ignore him. He isn’t much of an interest now, as awkward this moment is. I mean, when do you ever wake up and her your best friend enjoy the time of her life in the bedroom… it’s also a beautiful thing.

Finally that b/tch is sealing the deal, it was about time. Only I couldn’t be more wrong. The whole time I am here laying, thinking it’s Jenn and Jay, it’s Gigi and Mike. Although I am slighty disappointed, I am super happy for Gigi, she also deserves all the happiness in this world.

Scrolling on my phone, trying to distract myself from all the moaning and bedroomtalk, I check out this area. Not willing go stay indoors all weekend, I look for things we can do. There is a spa resort about one hour away from here, I am scroll to see their facilities. They have divided private spa houses, all of the houses have a sauna, hot tub and a lounge. They include drinks and snacks, when you book an arrangement. Knowing Jenn normally spends her Sundays alone, taking care of herself, she will be in. Caleb will just have to go with flow, and I will convince the rest in going.

Btw, there is something going on between Jenn and Jayden. I just feel it in my gut. They are sharing a different vibe. Jenn is avoiding, not only this weekend, but ever since summer break started. I don’t know what’s going on, but I will get on to it. I have always want to be informed, as I labeled my curiosity.

Not being able to block the noises anymore, I get up and make myself ready for the day. It’s almost 9.30, at least I can say, I did sleep longer than usual. Before I go to the kitchen, I wake Caleb up again. This time for real. I am not the only one who is gonna listen to this concert. How can he sleep anyways.

“Caleb. Baby, get up! Come on, I am hungry.”, works anytime.

“Mami, give me 10 more...”

“Oh, YES… Right there.” (Gina’s screaming echoes through the wall)

“Wtf.”, Caleb shrieks sleepy, almost jumping out the bed.

“Well, now I don’t have to explain myself, why I am waking you up.”, I smile at him. He looks at me with a questioning face. “Okay, maybe just a little bit. It’s Gigi and Mike.”

Rubbing the sleep out of his eye, he looks at me. His eyes say it all, he is proud on his boy, but he wants to sleep.

“Now just Jay and Jenni.”, he says in disbelief.

“Yeah. Now get your nice butt in the shower and join me outside for breakfast. Juice, coffee or tea?”

“Goodmorning to you too. Coffee please.”

“Get up.", I tell him one more time and kiss him on the cheek, and make my way to the kitchen and start preparing our breakfast.

The weather is awesome and I enjoy the morning sun, while I wait for Caleb. Debatting with myself, whether I should tell him about the spa or not.

“Here I thought you was loud.”, Caleb jokes, breaking my thoughts, handing me a fresh cup of coffee. Despite his joke, I can sense that he is still easing at waking up. He sits next to me and stats eating. I finish my sandwich and log in on my social media. Deciding now is not the best time to be the chappy girl.

Without asking, I refresh our cups of coffee. By the sounds down the hall, the coast isn’t clear yet. Jenn joins us after a while, wishing us a goodmorning, asking us how we slept, and that’s when Caleb starts again with the truthful jokes.

“I slept alright, but waking up...”, he laughs shortly. “At first, it had me thinking it was you guys.”

‘Stfu', I think while I am giving him an short elbow, when I look over at Jenn, it seems she is blushing. “I mean… whatever.”, Caleb continues.

“How did you sleep?”, I ask Jenn, observing her closely.

“Good, but same wake up call here.”, she laughs it away, and started to eat her bowl of fruits.

“Jay isn’t up yet?”, Caleb asks. Jenn keeps eating and shrug her shoulders up. “Impossible, with all of those little moans and yelling.”, Caleb laughs out loud. Can’t this guy keeps his mouth shut?! “Was about time they hooked up.”, I give him another elbow on the same spot.

“Wtf Ame?! It’s true tho. I mean, Mike was even blind to see Gigi and her crush on him. Just like…”. Okay, tf. Guy'oooohhh… Hitting my elbow harder this time, Caleb yelps from pain. “What, Ame? I am not lying.”, he mumbles. I just smile, drink my coffee. To make sure Caleb will keep his mouth shut, I bring up my idea to visit that spa I found. As I already foreseen, Jenn is totally cool with it. Showing her the website on my phone, Jayden appears. Like Caleb he isn’t found on the idea, but he didnbut Like Caleb he couldn’t stand a chance to resist me. “Now we just have to wait untill GiMi get out the bed.”, I tell them and they all start to laugh, because of ‘GiMi'. We have agreed to all cover a part of the bill and I make a call to make our reservations. Gigi and Mike don’t have a choice anymore now, I will inform them later.

Jenn and Jayden go for a hike in the afternoon, Jay almost demanded that he would go along. Caleb and I watch them bicker, before leaving.

“Don’t know what’s going on, but there is definitely something.”, I say to Caleb, when they are out of eyesight.

“Maybe they are just catching up time, Ame. I mean other than Mike and Gina, they are kind of acting normal.”

“Jenn did blush when you summoned that you guessed it was them.”

“Ame, she has a major crush on Jay, what else what you expect?”

Men are so simple minded, it’s unbelievable that he is oblivious.

“I know Jenni.”, I get out the loveseat and walk back in the house.

“Wow, they are still busy.”, Caleb says shaking his head.

I walk to Mike’s room and bounce on the door.

“Hey, take a break, would ya?!”, I yell. They are laughing, I hear stumbling and soon the door opens. Gina and Mike’s head popped from behind the door.

“Sorry.”, a giggling, blushing Gigi says.

“No need, just keep it down a little. While you guys are doing the obvious, the rest of us decided we are going to do some relaxing time. Since Gigi is going to need to calm her soreness, I just came to deliver the message, we are leaving here at 7 pm.”

“Ame.", Gigi shrieks, but Mike pulls her back in the room. “We will be ready”, he says and closes the door. Gina is giggling sweetly.

“RUDE!”, I yell at him walking back to the kitchen, and start setting preparations for dinner. After that, Caleb and I went down to the lake. We brought a card deck, to play when we are drying from swimming. Just Caleb wants to take another dive, I see Jay and Jenn on the hiking path. They are probably going up to the house.

“Let’s go, I have to start cooking.”, I say getting up and walk off. I knew Caleb would follow soon. We catch up with Jenn and Jay. The boys are walking in front of us. This is my spot for some digging.

“Sorry for about the awkward talk earlier.”, I apologize for Caleb’s stupid running mouth.

“What do you mean?”, she asks a bit confused.

“Caleb.”

“Oh, don’t worry, it’s okay.”, she avoids my eyecontact.

“So there is something going on.”, I say a little to loud to her.

“Will you keep it down?!?”, Jenn whisper shrieks at me.

I knew it! Jenn can’t really hide s**t from me. I’m her best friend, next to Jayden.

“Ohhhh damn, we need a girls day.”, I exclaim way too happy, while I jump up and down.

“Nothing is going on, Ame.”, she rolls her eyes and if I am not mistaken she is starting to blush.

“SURE.”, I continue my pace. “You can’t lie, girl. Not one bit.”,  I tell her, sounding like a mom. Speaking of moms, as soon as we was in the cabin, I start to finish tonight’s supper.

After dinner we all go to the resort. Gigi and Mike hopped in the car with Jayden. In the car I think about my conversation with Jenn walking up to the house. Girl time would be excellent tonight. I don’t need a whole day to get some info.

“Caleb?”, I ask him as sweet as possible. He hums, waiting for me to continue. “Can you to take the guys for some bro time, or whatever you guys call it.”

“Ami-i,”, he says with a warning tone.

“Yes, boo.”, I tease him back.

“Whatever’s going on, stop interfering.”

“I just want to have some girl time.”, giving him a huff for his egregious knowledge of, well, me. Chuckling loudly, Caleb shakes his head.

“I would gladly give you all your girl time,”, he turns his face quickly to me, “If we will have quality time.”, and winks before turning back on the road. “besides, it’s not like Gina and Mike will not take their chance to dissappear.”. Truthful words he speaks, they really found each other this weekend, but it’s really a bit crazy. Even at dinner they were feeding each other. Ugh, gag.. Hmmm… that got me thinking…

“Let’s leave when they decide to split the group, so Jenn and Jay will have their own quality time.”

“Always interfering.”

“Come on, Caleb. They are our best friends, they are in live since forever. Now he is finally free from that skank. I am just creating a possibility, Boo.”, I say at my sweet tone again.

Not able to resist my charm, Caleb just shrugs his shoulders up and keeps driving.
