THE OLD BEGGAR AND THE PEARL

BEGINNING I was absent minded on going to the office when I heard a voice from behind me when I looked back,it was an old woman looking soo tattered and rough.she called unto me, “my son, please come”, she said. but in haste to go to work I went on with my journey,then in her faded and crackled voice and she reached out to me saying son you need to be careful, I didn't take her serious anyway she's just some beger on the street.on getting to office I relaxed on the chair after long devastating walk and ready for the day's work After the day's work,I was packing up my things when I heard a knock on the door,on looking back,it was the secretary,then I signalled to her to come in. “Sir these are the files for tomorrow's work"she said. “this should be given to me tomorrow we are already in the closing hour",I said taking my suit off. “anyway, you can go" I said. I said packing up my things and arranging my drawer and table while trying to loose my tie I realised a shadow was still creeping behind me,I was scared,who could it be. Episode 2 On looking back,it turned out to be the secretary, “ I thought I had dismissed you”, I said still loosing my tie. she smiled nervously with a sly look on her face “ I was thinking I could help with the tie" she moved closer to me walking seductively, I was dumbfounded starring at her sexy legs and her sly gown which exposed some part of her breast,what the f**k,eventually, I summoned the courage to overcome the extravagance of the temptation placed before me,I roared “get off me,have you lost your mind", Said pushing her backwards. she sobered up and then she left the office reluctantly dissatisfied, then I felt relieved and headed home,on getting home,my wife had already prepared dinner, after the usually kiss on the cheek,she told me the food was ready and we went to the dinning after we prayed then we started eating. “ how was work today" Helen asked, “stressful but we thank God" I said. after eating up the couple started discussing different issues while doing that, I thought of telling her what the secretary had done but I decided to keep quiet,the day was going smooth and I didn't want to crush it after a long talk we decide to withdraw to bed. Episode 3 The angry eyes of the sun woke me up the next morning, I opened my eyes and saw it was in the morning then I jumped up from my bed knowing fully well that any procrastination might lead to me being late. I got up and went to the bathroom to freshen up for the day, after coming out of the bathroom, I dressed up and headed to the kitchen.On getting the aroma of the food came rubbing my nose I checked in but didn't see my wife so I decided to go to the living room to check but then a very robust and mouth watering meat came starring at me ”oh my God this is huge”I thought. then I stretched my hand to take then I heard a voice,I moved in shock and hit a plate,it fell down and clattered making a loud noise. “who was that”i thought, it was my wife,After getting myself together and I turned to her I realised I was a subject of laughter,she was making jest of me. “what are you doing in the kitchen” she asked, “not even a good morning” I said smiling, Helen kissed me but instead I turned my cheek, “what's that”she asked?, “it nothing, it's just some cramp” I said still smiling, “okay then I'll take it out for you”she insisted, she tried to pressed my cheek,no, no I protested but then the meat already escape to the ground , “oh my God” Helen said laughing, “you are stealing a meat from the pot. ”come on don't make fun of me, I came looking for you and when I didn't see you, I looked around,then I saw the meat, I to go, but the meat tempted me, then I decided to only take a look but damn! it was tempting and then by that time my thirst were increasing and I and I felt I was loosing, so I gave up and decide to take one, it's nothing babe” I said still smiling, “you know the only thing that made me laugh was the way you acted when I came in”she said laughing, out loud while I also joined in laughing.we then went to the dinning to eat and prepare for the day's work.
