Episode 1
Chapter 1
"No, Dad, I can't get married now," Claire said, her voice shaking with emotion.
"You're being unreasonable, Claire," her father replied. "Our family's business is at stake. The Ruperts need our help, and we need theirs. Your marriage to their son is the only way to secure our future."
"But what about my feelings?" Claire protested. "Hendrix is a playboy, and you want me to marry him? He doesn't even respect women!"
"Enough, Claire," her father said firmly. "This is not a discussion. You will marry Hendrix, and that's final."
Claire stormed out of the room, feeling trapped and desperate. She couldn't bear the thought of marrying a man she didn't love, a man who didn't love her back.
She ran out of the house, not knowing where to go or what to do. She ended up at a restaurant in West Town, where she ordered a bottle of alcohol, hoping to drown her sorrows.
As she sat there, feeling more and more dizzy, she suddenly realized she needed to use the restroom. She stumbled out of her seat and accidentally entered a private room, where she found Hendrix surrounded by three half-naked women.
The women quickly left, and Hendrix was shocked to see Claire in such a state. He tried to push her away, but she clung to him, begging him not to leave her.
Just as Hendrix was about to leave, Claire fell to the floor, crying out in pain. Hendrix felt a pang of guilt and decided to help her. He applied some ointment to her bruised elbow and was about to leave when she fell asleep in his arms.
"What have I gotten myself into?" Hendrix muttered, carrying Claire out of the room and into a taxi.
As they drove away, Claire's phone rang. It was her father, demanding to know where she was. Hendrix answered, pretending to be a friend, and told him she was safe and would be home soon.
But as they arrived at Hendrix's apartment, Claire began to stir. She looked up at Hendrix, confused and disoriented.
"Who are you?" she asked, her voice shaking.
Hendrix smiled wryly. "You're supposed to marry me, remember?"
Claire's eyes widened in horror. "Oh no, what have I done?"
And with that, she passed out again, leaving Hendrix to wonder what other surprises this unexpected night had in store for him.
As Hendrix looked down at Claire's sleeping form, he couldn't help but feel a pang of guilt. He had never thought about love when it came to their arranged marriage, but now he couldn't help but wonder if he was doing the right thing.
Was he really willing to marry a woman who didn't love him back? And what about his own feelings? Did he even know what love was?
Hendrix sighed and carried Claire to his bedroom, feeling like he was in way over his head. He had never thought that his arranged marriage would be so complicated.
As he lay down beside her, he couldn't help but wonder what the future held for them. Would they be able to make their marriage work, or would they end up in divorce court?
Only time would tell. But for now, Hendrix was stuck with a drunk and unconscious bride-to-be, and a whole lot of questions about love.
Hendrix waited to see if she would wake up but she didn't so he decided to carry her home.

Claire woke up the next day, feeling embarrassed and confused. She had no memory of how she got home, and her mother's words only added to her confusion. "Hendrix brought you home last night," she said, smiling. "You must have had a great time on your date."
Claire's face turned red as she realized what must have happened. She remembered entering a private room in the restaurant, where she saw Hendrix with three half-naked women. She felt a surge of anger and embarrassment.
"Hendrix is not the kind of man you think he is," she told her mother. "He's a playboy, and he doesn't care about anyone but himself."
Her mother looked concerned. "Claire, you're just upset because you're not used to drinking. Hendrix is a good man, and he'll take care of you."
But Claire knew better. She knew that Hendrix was only using her for his own gain, and she was determined to stop him.
Meanwhile, Hendrix was in his car, heading to a meeting with the board of trustees. His personal assistant, Greg, asked him about the woman he had brought home last night, and Hendrix's expression changed. He was clearly uncomfortable.
"What's wrong, boss?" Greg asked. "You're not acting like yourself."
Hendrix shook his head. "I don't know what you're talking about, Greg. Just focus on the meeting."
But Greg knew something was off. He had worked with Hendrix for eight years, and he had never seen him act like this before.
As they arrived at the meeting, Hendrix's father called him. "You need to get married to Claire Blaine within the next ten days," he said. "That's final."
Hendrix was furious. He knew his father was trying to use him to get ahead in business, and he was determined to stop him.
Back at Blaine's mansion, Claire's father was watching the news and getting increasingly unhappy. The new company had finally ventured into technology, and he knew they had to act fast.
He called Hendrix's father, and they made a plan
"Hendrix, we need to move fast," Claire's father said, his voice urgent. "This new company is a threat to our business."
"I agree," Hendrix's father replied. "But I have a condition for the merger."
"What's that?" Claire's father asked.
"Hendrix and Claire need to get married within the next ten days," Hendrix's father said, a sly smile spreading across his face. "And I don't just mean a business arrangement. I mean a real marriage, with a wedding and everything."
Claire's father's eyes widened in surprise. "You want to make this a family affair, don't you?"
Hendrix's father nodded. "The Blaines and the Ruperts, united at last. It's the perfect way to secure our power and take down our enemies."
Claire's father smiled, a plan forming in his mind. "I like it. Let's make it happen.”
