Chapter 18When I awoke the next morning, the rays of a sun already high in the sky were streaming in through the window. I looked over at the clock. Nine A.M. The bed was empty. But I smelled coffee. The small coffee machine in my room did not have a timer, and I had never used it. Figuring it would make terrible coffee, I preferred to go down to the street and take my morning brew at the coffee shop around the corner. So someone must have made the coffee. Was Rabi still here?
