Chapter 19We spent most of Sunday morning in bed. We had been up a good part of the night, not being able to get enough of each other, and finally settled into each other’s arms and fell asleep. Sunday morning continued in much the same way. Finally, the hunger pangs forced us to leave the room seeking sustenance of another kind. We found a place with outdoor tables to enjoy lunch. We wanted to soak up all the sunshine we could, as the day was perfect, warm but not too much heat. Afterward we took a walk in the Luxembourg Gardens, one of my favorite places in Paris. It was always quiet here, and it was a good place to sit on a bench and think.
