We drove until nightfall, then the drivers switched and Christian and Garrett took the wheel. I moved to the back seat and Michael took his position in the passenger side to rest until morning. I hated driving at night, but somehow, I was able to fall asleep until six O’clock in the morning. When I woke up Christian was at the wheel and Michael was out cold. I stretched myself out and stifled a yawn as I glanced around me. I couldn’t remember where I was at first and leaned between the front seats. “Where are we?” I whispered groggily. “Near Pennsylvania borders.” Christian mumbled tiredly. “When we get closer, I think I’ll switch with Michael again.” “I’m sorry, I’d take over for you so you both could rest.
